Movies That Are Basically Flawless No: The scene where Michelle Williams' character finally runs into Casey Affleck's is one of the most heart wrenching moments I've ever seen on film. You REALLY want to hate this woman for what she did to this man, but she is SO contrite and sorry for what she did that you almost wish he would. Then, when he returns the gesture with so much self-loathing, you can't help but sink into the sweet poetry of this desperate moment.
Truly great film making.

This video lost me at Mulholland Drive. It's an elaborate anti-Hollywood story that most people will have trouble identifying with practically and emotionally. I don't care how well made it is or how pretty it is. If the average film watcher can't understand it or identify with the characters, then it loses its emotional impact. The only people that love it are critics and people who are a part of Hollywood.

Creed was good. but there were plenty of flaws, primarily Micheal B Jordan's character. he comes across as just another trope character that lacks depth throughout the movie combined with a pretty standard plot and unremarkable dialogue and you get just some average film overall. Southpaw was a better movie.

Nihilism, pain, racism, despair. That's your standard for flawless movies? No wonder the world has gone to shit, people celebrate and only find valid this type of aesthetic. Achievement, individualism, happiness, all of that just thrown to the wind now in any sort of awards or recognition.

List is subjective. Personally, I thought this list was poor and far from flawless. Personally, Id go for Shawshank, LA Confidential, Jaws, Alien, The Thing and a few others. Even some of my favourites like Se7en, Martyrs and I Saw The Devil have flaws and I wouldnt rate them flawless.

I'm guessing this list only considered 21st century movies considering I could rattle off a whole bunch of older movies that got snubbed. Hello citizen Kane, psycho, Shawshank redemption, groundhog day. I could go on, but I believe those four make the point nicely

Wrong. Eternal Sunshine had one huge, insurmountable flaw named Jim Carrey. He's terrible in everything he does. He singlehandedly ruined The Truman Show. And c'mon, folks, The Witch just wasn't that good. It had its moments, and a good setting and cast.

Get out is quite boring, it could be a much shorter movie, even an episode in Twilight Zone or even Simpsons Treehouse of horror.
The witch is forgettable. Creed is nowhere near as good as the original Rocky movies. Meh.

On the waterfront. Godfather 1. Shawshank. Silence of the lambs. Goodfellas. Chinatown. One flew over the cuckos nest. Lawrence of arabia. Its a wonderful life. Come and see. The lives of others. Downfall. Black Friday.
