The Biggest Box Office Upsets Ever Marvelous: I absolutely despised Wayne's World, so I may never even have given it chance had it not been a friend if mine who talked me into watching it. It and the sequels are the only live action things Mike Meyers ever did that were any good. If I remember right, Austin Powers didn't really get popular until after it hit rentals. So it's not at all surprising that it started slow in the box office.

I didn't bother to see John Carter, since I'd read the entire Edgar Rice Burroughs series many years ago. Even as a kid, I balked at the fact that the Martian human women LAID EGGS to produce their young. Was that bit of nonsense in the movie as well?

Despicable Me 2, Butthead, Lorax all had foundations in entertainment. Tokyo drift suffered from not having the OG cast in the film and we are not in the 90s-00s anymore Tom Hanks

The only one of these that's an actual upset is Inferno losing to Boo. How is losing to Despicable Me 2 an upset? That freaking movie was everywhere the year it came out.

Scream DID NOT do better at the box office than Beavus and Butthead [or however you spell their name], this is only talking about the WEEKEND Grosses.

What about Sucker Punch vs. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules?
The Iron Giant vs. The Sixth Sense?
Casino Royale vs. Happy Feet?

Nacho Libre is a masterpiece if you watch it how it was intended. Get yourself some weed and give it a go. Its comedy gold lol

Best just try to find the Lone Ranger with Christopher Lloyd and a Real Native American playing Tonto. It was excellent.
