With speed 2 I thought the idea was good, don't seem to get alot of boat/ship movies, but the overall the finished product was here and there, in the end I went back to the first movie, when it first came out, I saw speed 3 times in the first week of cinema release when it first came out, I was 14 and thought it was the best film ever.

This ban was subsequently a blessing in disguise. Since it pushed our beloved Keanu towards other production companies resulting in The Matrix Trilogy. In my humble opinion the best action trilogy ever to be released by Hollywood!

The Lake House didn't suck. Granted it didn't get much notice. After all, Reeves has become better know for action.
But it is a very good movie for a home date night with one's wife or girlfriend. Bullock and Reeves still have on screen chemistry.

Keanu Reeves doesn't tell you the REAL REASON. Speed 2 was not the reason, it was his actions at a party around this time. He can't tell you, but they showed him what the reprecussions of crossing the occult Hollywood in crowd could start at.

Every kick is a boost. Keanu got the last laugh. Fox tried to scapegoat Reeves for not appearing in Speed 2. Had he played the good dog, his career would have tanked. Very bad script!

Are the producers from the studio 20th Century Fox monkees? The script was so bad that even if Keanu Reeves played in Speed 2, couldn't save the ship from sinking at the box office.
