National Treasure is a ridiculous movie. that's a lot of fun. But is it more ridiculous that your average superhero movie? It's not meant to be taken seriously; it's to entertain. I think critics forget that fact. They will say it's a fun movie but still pan it because it's silly.

Ive always wanted to know who made Rotten Tomatoes the end all be all in rating movies I mean lets face it they give great movies that dont have blockbuster teams behind them horrible reviews but then give some recycled universal or Disney shit a 90%.

Well that just tells you how disconnected critics are, National Treasure was amazing. Ive watch it 15+ times and enjoyed it every time. The second one wasnt as good, but sequels rarely are.
