Twitter Isn't Holding Back On Ahsoka

Dawson is always a treat. She's excellent as Ahsoka. In fact, all of the actors are doing a great job.
I really only have two complaints:
1) Is Disney getting its light sabers from Costco? I remember a time when a light saber to the gut would actually kill you.
2) I don't like the way Sabine was portrayed in the first episode, and most of the second. That rock-n-roll bike introduction was aggressively off-putting and cliched, and I don't know why anyone would've ever put up with her crap. This is NOT to blame the actress. She did what she was told. But the writing of her character was just inexplicable to me.

The show should have been called Rebels part 2 or Rebels with some kind of Sir title the show does not do a great job of setting up the story for people who have not watched Rebels 20 minutes in to the first episode i had no idea what was going on and was painfully aware there was a series of media that this story was depending on you knowing I've watched all of the Clone Wars TV show with my nephew and really love the way that show and the addition of the character Ashoka flesh out the character of Anakin Skywalker it really put some meat on the bones but I didn't really have a reason to watch a Y7 rated tv show that they shoved her into because they needed some Jedi to keep the show afloat

The only thing I was not a huge fan of was Hera. IMO the skin is just too clean and looks like a low end theatre makeup job, and she seems just a tad too tall. All easily fixable with editing and camera angles so this seems more like a purposeful choice by the show runners

So far I'm not liking it. Why is that rock music in Star Wars? That had me confused. It really doesn't feel like Star Wars anymore. I feel like I'm watching something else like Star Trek, but Star Wars characters in it.
