This guy is one of the very(VERY) few actors that I've never heard/read a single bad word about - and yeah I know he's not a saint, but compared to guys like VanDamme and Segal whose movies I won't even watch anymore - I'm glad I stumbled on this video so I can check out some of his work! Most of which I was totally unaware of, sadly.
And I actually liked the campy Masters of the Universe movie, saw it in the theaters and only because I wanted to see if he could do more than Drago. Turns out I missed a lot of his work that shows his quality!
So GOOD on Looper for doing a video about him, despite being mostly an advertisement! LOL

I think he's just had fun with it all this time. :) I mean he's confident in himself, and has other interests to fall back on IRL. He's never really had to be an action star, if you know what I mean? Smart place to be and he's kept his interest in Karate and strength. It's just sort of genuine, and nice to see when everything in Hollywood is about hype and surface. Well I think so, even if I don't think most of his movies are good: P well that's just up to other things it seems. ;)
Liked his role in Expendables, nice nod to chemistry and explosives: D although it's Gunnar not Gunner as he's credited I think; )

I always wondered why Dolph Lundgren took a backseat of sorts to Jean-Claude Van Damme.
Both are European Martial Artist / Bodybuilder types, but Dolph seemed to be the total package
of the two especially with his formal education and was better at English and thus better at acting.
I could see Dolph in many of the roles that went to Jean-Claude and probably would have done
a bit better though they were both in Universal Soldiers together and I'll admit Van Damme
held his own. Hmmmmm.

It would be awesome to make a film on the Dragos and his downfall after losing to Balboa and his journey as a single parent! Stallone is hanging his Rocky gloves up, lets say his character dies, a lonely Adonis Creed is lost and confused, Drago comes with his son to America for a new life, he somehow hooks up with Adonis, takes him under his wing and become another father figure to him trying to make amends for killing Apollo. This would be a full redemption arc for Drago!

I get to meet him at next years fanboy expo! Its not until summer and Im already so excited I cant even stand it! I think expo is trying to kill me. First year I went and met Jonathan Frakes and about died of fangirl super crush bliss. Last expo, met Sebastian Bach and hnng hes still gorgeous and so sweet! Now Dolph! Idk if I can talk to him without passing out lol Ive had a MAJOR crush on him since Drago and then Heman oof even the straight to video movies hes in are epic.

Dolph is one of the smartest actors in Hollywood. He literally has brains and brawn to boot. He almost killed Sylvester Stallone while filming 'Rocky 4'. Stallone told Dolph to throw real punches to make it real looking, so Dolph punched him in the chest so hard that Stallone's heart swelled.
This guy almost killed Rambo, so he is a stud in my book.

For me he is -THE RED SCORPION-
and he have to make second part ( going with Russian army to Syria fighting ISIS. And ending by fighting everyone to save a poor village. And it will be good if he end with an epic death as ( Buliwyf in 13th warrior )

Its amazing how a smart and educated person like DL enjoyed starring in so many utterly shitty movies over such a long time (Pentathlon easily being of the three worst movies ever made. He must also have a great sense of humor and an even stronger stomach.

Martial arts is a waste of time. as you get older you want light weights and high reps. you'll get ripped and you'll be flexible. At 60 you dint want to work out like you did at 20. You can suffer many problems.
