Freak show was the weakest of them all, I didn't like it and I am a big fan of the series but I actually liked Hotel. I started watching it and soon stopped because I thought it was bad, but then I started again and it got better and better. I was kind of glad that Jessica Lange quit the series, I mean yes she is a good actress no doubt but in all her seasons she was basically playing the same character again and again, the other actors are playing different characters and they bring something new to every one of them but with her I just always saw the same character that she played in the first season and it kinda started to bother me with every passing season, I wanted something new for her, it's like she got stuck playing Constance.

Why does everyone hate Cult?
I would say its one of my favorite seasons. It had an interesting story that kept me on edge. The only thing bad was the ending scene in the last episode. To be honest, Hotel was probably the worst season b/c the story got dragged on to the point where I got bored by the 5th episode. They would add in new things here and there and it would either put the story back or do nothing completely.
If I had to rank the Seasons it would be:
1) asylum
2) cult
3) murder house
4) freak show
5) coven
6) apocalypse
7) Roanoke
8) hotel

Every season has something to offer. There is no worst season. Just different opinions. I for one think Roanoke and Cult were original and unique. Roanoke was the only true scary season and cult was just brilliant. Yet most of the fan base think theyre the worst along with freak show and hotel. And basically any other season that isnt murder house and asylum. Which are my two bottom seasons and imo the most overrated

I have to agree with all of what you guys said, but the only thing I disagree with is Worst: Curtain Call. I did like the episode (and yes, it was the worse episode in the season in my opinion, but I really did like it. However, I did feel it was a little rushed, and I feel they could have done better with some music for some scenes. In my opinion, I feel the last episode of Roanoke has to replace Curtain Call

Dandy is the most disgusting & disturbing villian out of all 8 seasons. He represents the 1% who has been rasied in a luxury 99% will never know. His mother is a close second. Whiny & desperate. Instead of killing him which is what he deserves, , she enables his perverse behavior & even encourages it. The name alone. DANDY, evokes contempt. Stanley comes in as #3, a sociopath & killer.

On my opinion cult and hotel are the worst seasons. At the beginning i really liked cult but it really got worse. But i think that Roanoke was actually good! Like it didn't felt like ahs but actually that's what made it even more scary and roanoke is different than the other seasons i really enjoyed watching it. But hotel was on my opinion garbage but if u like it i won't judge

I just so loved Hotel! The decor, the music, the whole atmosphere are the most well-made of the serie, (apart Asylum) and it's just awesome! I loved the intrigue and Lady Gaga! Evans's performance is speechless! I think it 's one of the best season!

I dont agree l convent house n liked freak show but the episode of the one with Chers son l remember that one but l dislike that one that whole season l didnt like and parts of this last one l wasnt crazy about either but l did Like some of the episodes from the last one just Not all so l dont agree with those choices of America Horror Story.

I still think the entire Freak Show season was the worst. I don't have a fear of clowns, in fact, I find them boring. I found myself bored throughout the entire season and disgusted when that chick was tattooed against her will be her father. Freak Show was is undoubtedly the worst season. My favorite seasons were Coven and Hotel.
