It's simple why they didn't let her come back. It's because they want Captain Marvel as the new face of the franchise and as everyone hates Captain Marvel but loves Black Widow, they think if they kill her off people will come to love Captain Marvel. the thing is that no one liked Captain Marvel in the comics and now they have some trumped up condescending actress playing a character that is already hated by 99% of the fans and then they toss this actress in her role spewing her crap and having the worse box office record for a marvel movie trying to take place of three beloved characters is the worse thing Marvel Studios could do.
Sense the stones were taken back at the same exact point they were collected she shouldn't be dead and really end game shouldn't have ended the way it did but ended the way it started with 50% of the universe gone in a snap. Basically taking the stones back to the exact point they were collected would've created a paradox, a never-ending loop, and not what they showed in the film. It's a good thing the writers know what they are doing or things could've gotten all messed up. wait they don't know what they are writing about and did mess everything up.
Besides the HUGE holes and the major paradox it was a good action/sci-fi flick.

I wish they didn't change who died for the soul stone. Makes way more sense that it be Hawk-eye. He was off happy living post-civil war while Black Widow was a fugitive for years. He then went dark in Endgame while Black-Widow stepped up to the plate, fought the first Thanos battle and helped in the aftermath. Hawk-eye sacrificing himself for his family (and the Universe obv) has more impact for his character to end his story. Gives him something memorable to do for once. Black-Widow also rescued him from his darkness in the first place (just like she did when he was mind controlled, giving him meaning and direction again. She gave him the chance to die with honour and for the best possible reason. It also hands the opportunity to Black Widow to find some happiness in the end of her tough life. She would then be the obvious candidate to run the next Avengers team alongside Cpt Marvel and offer balance of personality/skills in a female lead Avengers.
. plus, ending the way it did means Hawk-eye had 2 people sacrifice their lives for him (rem Quick Silver, be rescued from mind control and avoid most of Thanos' Infinity War. HOW is he the one to survive it all AND get to retire to a farm with his family? One lucky S. O. B.

The reason why we didn't see black widows funeral is because marvel studios want's us to think that there is still hope for the character. So we are aware that there will be an origin black widow movie next year and you can find the short story line on IMDB and also I think that in guardians of the galaxy 3 they would perhaps maybe find her and resurrect her during the movie or maybe a little tease at the end credits and this would then lead more roles in present day for the character. Marvel studios is keeping the story line of guardians 3 very quiet because there could maybe be something that relate to black widow and it's probably a gandalf the grey to white type thing for her character that's going on.

I give this warning. I better not hear about some A-force movie coming out with an all female avengers cast and not see black widow in the lineup. It wont look right and I believe the movie will bomb. YOU HAD A TIME MACHINE! There are so many different people who are already dead that you couldve sacrificed for the soul stone ( Thor sacrificing Loki. Heellllo) And dont give me this nonsense about shes gone forever. Soul world exist in the soul stone and in the comics Adam warlock who is being introduced in GOTG3 has a connection to the soul stone and can go in and out of soul world whenever he chooses so it is possible to bring her back. Smh

Black widow's film should have been the 1st female-lead mcu film. We have been waiting for it for 9 years ever since her debut on iron man 2 and Marvel Studios decides to finally make that film now that in the present timeline she's dead?
This sucks; not to mention Vision was almost erased from existence if it were not for Scarlet Witches rage from losing him and mentioning him at the end. There was also so much in for vision; how he was evolving to appear more human; his relationship with scarlet witch. Not to mention they were the only true, healthy, and lasting power couple. I would have definitly loved to see a Scarlet/Vision film

Just Saying that The time machine they built in endgame is way more Effective and Usefull than the TIME Stone Thor got his mjolnir back so it means if thor didn't break his mjolnir in Ragnarok he could've had 2! And if he goes way back on time when he was a kid he can also get a 3rd mjolnir until he has so many mjolnir that he could just throw at enemies (i hope y'all understand my english is kinda poopy)
Samething goes to the characters Coz We all know There are 2 Captain America and nebula in Endgame.

So I get why she wouldnt want a funeral. Natasha is a very privet person. She probably wouldnt want one but they could of done something for her. Like maybe when Hawkeye gets the soul stone he could have a little conversation with Natasha in the soul world or something like Thanos did with Gamora.
I fear for the Black Widow movie because I dont think many people will see it as important because she is already dead and cant do anything. I feel that Marvel should bring her back. They just told us that the multiverse is a thing so they could use that.

Honestly people say that the Black Widow death was a problem but that's not true. I absolutely loved Black Widow and it burned my soul when they killed her off but it makes sense. Her sacrifice was of great importance to the movie's plot and if you think about it it could have been her fear of failing and having her entire family (the avengers) stripped from her again ultimately making her choice. Also we've seen Natasha is absolutely stronger than Hawkeye so she succeeded in her own death in the end. It was a very powerful moment.
