You forgot to mention that Emett also serves as a pseudo brother for Michelle since it was foreshadowed when they were talking about regrets. In it she said that her brother always protected her and she never was able to have the courage or willpower to do anything about their parent but run away and leave it all behind similar to when she saw little girl in a hardware store being abused by her dad. Thus in the same manner Emett took all the blame when they got caught like her brother and Michele just stood there and watch Emett got shot, thus in the ending she finally took the courage to do something and not run away from it, and live life with no regrets. Otherwise you hit all the Easter eggs or hidden messages.

Did any of you watch the video? Do you need big flashing lights and sirens blaring to let you know WARNING: MOVIE EXPLANATION INCOMING? He explained that this entire movie showed the growth of Michelle, from being the indecisive, cowardly person she was in the beginning (abandoning her relationship and witnessing domestic abuse without taking action) to overcoming all odds in the end by defeating a giant alien and gaining the resolve to join the fight by heading to Houston. It's a story about redemption

I havent seen this but I saw cloverfield. It looks promising but the cloverfield paradox on netflix is unwatchable. So boring and low budget. The ending of cloverfield paradox is junk you only need to watch the ending of paradox to 7nderstand it's the prequel. The whole movie is a waste of time dont waste time on cloverfield paradox

I think at the end John Goodman was outed as a super hero. How else could they explain surviving that acid, burning and coherant enough to still be chasing the girl. The pain would have put anyone else into shock. I liked him better as a war antiques recoverer anyway. Did you guys know they were using live ammo?

I wonder if John Goodman's character ever considered what he is going to do when his food runs out. I mean, It seems like he wants to stay in that hole forever. I doubt he had 40 years worth of food and even if he did, no way it's going to be good to eat.

Besides just being a summary he skipped the entire part with the Alien ships crop duster of green smoke which not sure but I think is what caused that neighbor lady skin to be all infected the one they thought was contaminated by the air

I don't understand why people didn't think this film was good. It had it's ok and bad parts, but a lot of movies do.
Sure, it wasn't better than the first movie, but definitely better than the Netflix series and most films in 2016.

This is just summarizing the movie, watched the same movie as u guys, we were expecting new mysterious info, but i love that u gave cloverfield attention, it desreves all the attention it gets so we can have a legit sequel
