So, are all these estimates retail, wholesale, or cost? It would seem to me a corporation as large as Stark Industries, he'd have his own mining, processing, factories, etc. So his actual costs are low. Real world manufacturing is such that the cost of a product is about 10-15 % of the MSRP. So if i pay 100 USD for an item, it cost the factory 15 to make. And that's the high end. If not, Tony's finances would disappear by the second year and he'd go bankrupt.

I would have expected the cost would have gone down especially by the time the drone suits came out considering anyone as smart as Tony and a businessman of his class would know to re-use component designs whenever possible. That with looking at the fact he has truly massive and advanced production capabilities considering some of the components in bulk we saw getting shipped in Homecoming it would drive the cost down further.

he got that all covered we can say he is paid by the toys figures and when cleaning their mess with his own company doing the cleaning and we can say if he save a country or something he can have all the discounts and freebies but we can safely say rich comic characters bank accounts are limitless: D

Sounds like noone is addressing the fact that his suit is mostly 3D printed in the early days. And the nanite suit litterally builds itself. All you need to make such a nanosuit would likely be a powerful laser and lots of silicon wafer. Both fof the electronics AND the mechanisms

Umm, Jarvis did the R&D for the suit. AI can advance tech and make it far cheaper than we can, with just the initial investment. At that point it is just material cost for manufacture

Ummmm guys this guy is also the primary financer of the entire avengers so yeah being iron man is pretty cheap compared to housing training and equiping a team like this
