Regarding the coworker of Sarah, it was a regular saying when I grew up in the 80s in a hundred years who will care when something embarassing happend. She may also be a preinternet sucker for fame who does not care how or why someone gets their name on tv it is just out there so they become famous.
As for the eyebrows and hair, the hair above the forehead is burnt off alongside the eyebrows.
Reese has, for his part been at war with terminators his whole life in a world where probably noone lies, he may not even know the concept of a lie so he warns Sarah immediatly about what she is up against annd he is honest to the police since he knows nothing else.
The story of skynet becomes known to a young John C thru his meeting with Miles Dyson and later thru Catherine B since her father works on the project so them knowing quit a lot about Skynet is not so strange.
Skynet may have decided human fate within a millisecond but it could not execute it within that time, it could only start its war.
So there is logics even in this movie

sin for t2 and t3: Canon is that the t-800's all look exactly the same, modeled after a Skynet officer. Assume its designed for its hair not to grow, just is a pre-set style, so it doesnt hafta worry about getting haircuts or hair in its eyes. T1 terminator has a medium length haircut in the beginning, which gets kinda singed off after the car explosion. So after that its hair is shorter and spiky. in t2 and t3, the t800 (same model, separate but supposedly identical indivuduals) shows up with shorter spiky hair like the t1 terminator after the hair singe. Why? Because everyone thought it looked cooler?

Kyle explained the Terminator in the way he did because he was a soldier and had been since childhood. He had never been anything else and his interactions with others reflect that. He was essentially talking to Sarah as if he was giving her a briefing about the Terminator and some orientation about It's capabilities and construction.

Here's a dumb thing from T1 and T2. Who is the leader of the human resistance before John Connor? T2 is set in 1995 where John is 10 years old. Judgement Day is August 29th 1997 where John is 12 years old. Granted he along with his mum was in a nuclear bunker for ten years but he just didn't step out of the bunker automatically becoming the leader of the human resistance. Somebody had to be in charge before him

Makes for a less interesting movie, but making a robot assassin to travel back in time to take out a single target is the least logical least efficient means to accomplish the ends of a robot defense network.
Skin and meat covered high yield nuke sent back in time would accomplish the same objective; but would make a much less satisfying story.

For a machine that was a high tech dedicated killing machine they couldn't shoot for beans. Should be 1 shot, 1 kill.
And for security at resistance hideouts where they used dogs to discover terminators. Since they had steel frames, all that was needed was a bathroom scale at the door and weight it.

Left out my favorite. Why do dogs in the present react to Terminators? In the future they can be taught to react to them but there are none in the present.
Please don't say it's because they are part machine. If so, dogs would react to people with prosthetic limbs or in wheelchairs.

1) People are flawed. 2. Skynet had a poor understanding of human behaviour. 3. Kyle saved Sarah's life multiple times in less than a day, probably demonstrating more heroism than every other man in her life put together. Some women would respond to that.
