We Finally Understand The Ending Of Mad Men ahoolachan: Actually, you didn't explain an understanding of the final episode. Ironically you used the tactics so visibly derided in Mad Men to lure us into your video! Their are many meanings to the ending which is left deliberately ambiguous. The notion that he is commodifying hippy culture is obvious and not worth making a video about. The ending could also be read as him coming to peace with himself (an example of one of many possible readings. We simply don't know. So please, lay off the self-promotion. Kind regard, Not-America.

The day capitalism absorbed the counterculture because businessmen found that the rebellion was sellable.
Also, it's really sad to know that Don Draper doesn't save himself.
He understood nothing despite having listened to Leonard's dream, despite he had a vision of Copper telling him that the best things in life were free and despite having lost everything.

Come on, dont be so down to earth or cynical. It's just about finding one's true self eventually. If you sum up the whole journey just to find out Don Draper is a real adman, well, you have it in the very first scene of season's 1 first episode.

In the end he created one of the most iconic coca cola ads ever. I watched the finale in my grandparents' house last year and when that song played they watched the ad too and was surprised hearing that again after probably so many years haha.

What was there to not understand? You guys simply narrated the entire last episode plot which everyone gets. I expected there would be something a bit more psychological or spiritual from Don's perpective.

The Title is False Advertising of the content of a video about Advertising. Atrocious vid. You won my time but i will never watch another looper video again, you's are viciously cynical

Don has a vision of uniting his love for advertising and persuasion with saving the world by exporting the ideology of neoliberalism.
Enrichment through enlightenment.

We saw don falling from a skyscraper in the intro for 8 years and never focused on what we see after. Him sitting on the couch smoking and drinking. That's the answer.

This video we don't think the audience is smart enough to understand the implied ending of Donald Drapers character arc, so we will explain it very, very slowly

Loved Mad Men in the first several seasons, but just like other devolving shows, it eventually just stitched together by characters jumping into each other's beds.
