Why Ahmed Best Was Never The Same After Playing Jar Jar Binks Black_Jackle: I actually kind of liked the slap-stick humor of the Ja Ja character.
But then I don't take any of it seriously enough to care if that bugs super fans
It's a fictional story.
The actress that played Laurie in the Walking Dead is extremely nice IRL( boo'd out of a comicon. yes I loathed that fictional character like everybody else.
But that is because shes a talented actress and you are supposed to find her character annoying in the stories narrative.
They are actors playing a part so there is never a reason to make them feel like crap for entertaining us. Can't have an awesome hero without despicable anti-heros.

I saw ep IV when it came out, same with the prequels, and this newest batch, as well as the side movies. I liked JarJar from the beginning, I never knew who the actor was that played him. With all the dark that comes with Star Wars saga, you need the other side, even if it may seem extreme to balance it, there were similar moments with R2-D2 and C3PO that could be considered of similar content humor wise. It is a story, not all stories will be to your personal liking, but most find something in the Saga to connect with, as did myself and still do when I re-watch them. Thanks for this video.

Horribly inaccurate. Ahmed Best is on record saying it was a media backlash that almost drove him to suicide. Also he has stated he'd ask fans for assitance if ever directing for Lucasfilm. He loves the fans, but disliked the media for their portrayal of his character. Yeah, there were some fans that wished death upon him, but it was such a small number, but the media, of course, was the toxic source that affected him the most unfortunately.

The one who should have received all that hatred should have been the one directing those films, not the one playing it.
George Lucas is good at world imagining but not at world building, that's why the sequels and the precuels are so different.
I mean, I remember this joke in Cinema Sins or Wins, on Rogue One, when they say OH, WHO LET GEORGE LUCAS WRITE A LINE,
when Vader is choking this ambitious Admiral.

I like Jar Jar in SW and Im a long time SW fan of the movies and tv shows.
Fans can be ridiculous and cruel because they dont have a life or have poor training outside of Star Wars.
Darth Maul (which fans celebrate) is a villainous killer.
Jar Jar is just a odd alien that befriends the good guy.

He did not invent the character and he got paid to portray him.
I think Jar Jar was an abomination and grave error, but if I got paid like that I would happily don the suit and play that abomination and wipe my tears of shame with the crisp dollar bills.
Never overlook the importance of context!

Him and Anis actor were just following Georges directions, neither of them deserved any of the hate they got. Especially little Jake, he was just a wide-eyed boy with a bright future ahead of him, he was just a god damn innocent boy.

Why do people still believe the Prequel Trilogy is about tax and trade disputes. The political factors of the Trilogy were the background and context to what the Prequel Story has always been, the Fall of Anakin Skywalker.

I feel bad for him, all he wanted to do was play in a star wars movie and mean something but assholes got to be so rude and push him to be suicidal because of a role that wasn't even bad

Its sad hearing the actor playing jar jar bunks gets so much hate for playing a role in Star Wars. The fans can take things to far for a movie franchises its just a character etc.
