I feel like there is this one moment in the show when Rosa returns from an active shooting while Santiago and Gina have been trying to fix a toilet for a long time and Amy hugs Rosa when she sees her. The characters feel so real when all the three of them hug. Thats the moment Gina was the most Gina to me.

soooo. the real reason is no reason we can talk about. It was just mutual because doing something else was in the cards.

I love everything about this show except Gina, so I was super happy when she left and think the show is better without her. But that's just me, apparently. :-)
