I see what you're saying about him being rebellious but technically Superman is a God so if a god refuses to follow human laws and human Rules by human governments and Shuman leaders Technically that doesn't make him a rebel that just seems to me that he's just standing his ground as a god it still boggles my mind how either in comics or cartoons anime whatever you want to call it or in movies and TV shows and keep trying to bring Supergirl and Superman down to our level that they have to follow our human rules in this country or that country that's humans always constantly trying to make themselves look like they can be just like God or another God and that's ridiculous that's like telling Thor that while you're on planet Earth in America you got to obey by American rules pay taxes and have a Social Security number and all this other stuff that doesn't make any sense

The hype is real. And that's not simply a cliche. CW has never aired anything in the quality of Superman and Lois production wise with the exception of Stargirl and Black Lightning which are very well shot and directed. An argument could be made for Batwoman as well in terms of cinematography alone.

Comics never made money, signed a paycheck or in someway helpful. Only those who fans with large investments that pay large dividends would want to know that level of information. They have taken the fun out of the funny papers where superheroes first made their appearances. Yes, I am a cynic!
