I don't wash my hair. It isn't dirty or greasy, and it has more volume than when I was washing it. When I was a kid, I would shampoo and condition my hair, and then use hair gel to style it. Complete waste of time. Now that I don't wash it, it just stays up how I want it without product. No problems at all. I can understand people doing it if they want their hair as straight and as lacking in volume as possible (a look I do appreciate, especially on long-haired girls, but that's not me.

Actually, not washing long hair so often is better for the hair, unless you are getting it dirty all the time. But there are less harsh ways to clean that out and without striping out the good oils and such. I worked with a young woman at a reataurant who had woderful volumnous hair. she told me she never washes it (I think she meant with shampoo or other soap. Great healthy thick bountiful body hair she had. Green eyes too. One could only dream. Oh, and it did not smell bad.

Sophie Turner is a priviledge woman. She makes millions off GOT and yet complains how disgusting it was that she had to sacrifice not washing her hair. Then don't do it. Give up the role. She is a terrible actress and should be greatfull she had a role anove other actresses who would have been better in the role as Sansa. It's just that we have become accostom to her in the role that we can not see the possibility of better actresses in the Sansa role.

I wash my hair once a week or once every two weeks. I have very dray hair, kind of curly, so I don't brush unless I have to (the days before I wash it) or when I shower. Also I don't use dry shampoo or any product on it between washes.
I don't feel like it is dirty and it stays clean more days than other people's hair, so it works for me.

I had no idea that is not her original head! My God! The dedication she has displayed to her craft. To sacrifice her head and have to live with a donor head for the rest of her life. The poor woman. Just out of curiosity, what happened to the person who had the head before her? Are they still alive?

Dude seriously! You think not washing your hair for this big a role in this BIG a TV show is a big deal? Come on! I can't believe that you guys actually made a full 4: 30 minute video just focusing on the trouble that Sophie had to go thru. I'm damn sure that even Sophie would laugh at this video.

So, in reaching season 5, shes getting paid probably 100 times what she got paid in season 1, and now shes saving money on shampoo on top of that. Tough life
All models do this as well. Its much easier to style hair and have it stay that way with hair being a bit greasy.

When her hair was darker, it looked dark brown to me, not black. Anyway, what I think is funny is when a group of people in the show is out in a snowstorm and only one or two people are wearing a warm hat. That seems less realistic than how dirty their hair is.

OH nooooooo, she wasn't allowed to wash her hair, for millions of dollars, how horrible for her. I'm sorry it's ridicilous, please look into what soldiers go through in basic training and how much they get paid for it, why is this even getting attention
