The fact that you defend Gunn is pretty shitty - we are not talking about a few questionable tweets, but HUNDREDS of tweets that show that show that the guy is clearly a pedophile!
Blaming some right-wing extremist for revealing what had been there to see for all for a very long time and had simply been ignored is even worse.
I enjoyed Guardians of the Galaxy, but that only makes it worse - clearly, Gunn is a psychopath and I started wondering how many messages were in that movie that I didn't even notice, but which might be very different when viewed in full knowledge of Gunn's true nature.
Why are so many people willing to give celebrities a pass for behavior or attitudes they would reject in anyone else?

What we saw at the beginning of Black Panther was the coronation. It's the same in the real world. Queen Elizabeth II became Queen in 1952 upon the death of King George VI, but her coronation didn't take place until 1953. Coronations take time to arrange - even if they're ceremonial fist fights in pools at the top of waterfalls.

Lol, if the new diversity pushing comics, wouldn't be written by SWJ's without an idea about comic books, they would sell better, and they could have the same characters.
It has absolutly nothing to do with bad promotion or that no one wants those characters. The story in many cases straight up sucks.
Anyways, dunno why ppl bash the timeline, does it really matter? the films are, for the most part, good, so why even bother if they don't fit exactly, or if they have some number errors.

Wakanda king is determined by a battle ceremony so it likely took time to gather the tribes and discuss succession then select the tribesmen who might compete for the thrown and then they would have to pick the date for the inauguration battle. I dont know if your aware of this but government often takes a long time to implement change especially in tribal cultures. During that time T'challa would likely have served as acting king.

1. The Wonder woman comment is just plain WRONG. Marvel had plans for female superheroes in the works (Captain Marvel) long before the WW movie was in theaters.
2. No matter who exposed James Gunn (left, right, alt-right, his remarks were just plain SICK. Have any of you defending him read them? He, just like ANY Director or Actor is NOT irreplaceable. Move on, hes gone.

Black Widow's movie could've been crafted in a Mission Impossible style. Team her up with military/espionage unpowered Avengers i. e. Hawkeye, Falcon, Fury, etc. Do flashbacks for us to finally had seen what happened in budapest. and her training in the Red Room with the Winter Soldier. Red Sparrow was basically her origin story that hit theatres. Ugh. What's so hard!

Yeah i want more diverse charecters and black panther is cool that its in a part distopian hidden place where its an african tribe and it didnt shove it down our throats but hopefully they wont shove diverse charectors i always think movies like avengers should be like simular to the worlds population where they have a simular race and such
