I had the same question, a scene towards the end when the tribe was waiting and Jake proceeds to move forward and then shortly after this scene everyone started to move forward and all of a sudden the the sea tribe are cut from the action piece.

In the very beginning of this movie, when Jake gives up his position as chief. The new guy who took over, looks like tsu'tey who died in the first avatar movie. I wouldn t be surprised if that new guy is actually his brother, cousin, or nephew.

I think it s simply that the ship was disabled and the whalers were defeated. The fight with quaritch wasn t their fight so they left it to Jake and his family.

I liked the movie but AVATAR THE WAY OF WATER. Is like watching the HAWAII EPISODE OF THE BRADY BUNCH BUT IN SPACE AND THE TIKI CURSE MADE EVERYTHING GO WRONG.

Anyone notice that the outcast whale thing regrew its front right fin as soon as it was no longer necessary to the supposed plot. Past being a super lame sequel.

I find it very convenient there was an eclipse just for the duration of the final stand off so the film could have a more dramatic night setting
