I doubt he was even given the offer. So banned seems to be quite a stretch don't you think, but anything for a story behind the mans back now that he's 6' under. Just say'n. I think the movie franchise would've been more humorouse than it was. Her loss.

Robin Williams as Snape would've been interesting and probably fascinating to just see, but I don't know if he'd be able to top Alan Rickman's performance. Hard to tell. I feel he would've pulled some of it off very well at least.

Probably because he wasnt from the UK? I was surprised when Johnny Depp was in Fantastic Beasts. I guess that character wasnt from the UK.
