Jesse: 1 thing people are often confused about at the ending of the film is that because Cage & J Squad launched their attack several hours BEFORE the entire surprise invasion took place, & Cage got covered in the Omega's blood he was able to regain the ability to rewind time 1 day again like when he got covered in the Alpha's blood. So, when he went back 1 day this time he ended up in the helicopter since that's where he was several hours before waking up in the military base, but because the Omega died all of the other Mimics died as well, so Cage was able to restart the day but the Mimics stayed dead. So, if Cage ever dies again he'll restart the day since he still has the Omega's power, unless he gets a blood transfusion again. Date: 2023-03-13
