So I've seen this movie over fifteen times, it's my favourite '80s movie with one of my favourite actresses in the lead. I showed it to my boyfriend on Friday and he loved it too.
And I find two things outrageous with this list.
First thing is that Heather number 1's death is number 10! How?
It's one of the most shocking parts of the film. It's a scene which everybody who has seen the movie remembers. Not everybody expects it. It's a huge moment that deserved top 3.
Then for Martha Dumptruck's suicide attempt to not even feature on the list or as an honourable mention is an insult.
The most poignant part of the film, and it's not acknowledged? I don't get it.

I cant believe shes the same person who played Lydia. Winona looks so different in this movie. but she still sounds similar. Also isnt the person (I havent seen this movie yet; -; ) who played the priest in this movie play Otho in BJ? I recognize him XD

Okay I was a big fan back in 88 when this came out. It is on Starz right now ( in 2023 ) and it reminds me that Kim Walker, heather number one died IRL shortly after this film came out.
Betty Finn was played by Charlie Sheens little sister.

Heathers is perfect example of that good movie found the way to audience. It was flop when it was realized. It's very good movie, it's was very funny and well acted.

Fun fact: Heather's was inspired by true events that unfolded in Plano, TX. where there were 8 suicides in one year. Three of them happened in one week. True Story.
