(Spoiler if you have not watched Scandal please don't read my rant) I am starting to watch this show, I am nearly through with Season four, and it probably should have ended on Season 3. As great as the Fitz and Pope chemistry was, that show is/was going around in circles. B613 trying to take down B613, Command trying to take down Command. B613 working with Command, then working with the old command, against new command. Then a woman went to jail for murdering her daughter, somehow that story fizzled out when Olivia was kidnapped, and the President started a war in Angola and her friend paid $2 billion for her release. Sorry unless she farted gold, diamonds, cobalt and Lithium she weren't worth that. Then Fitz has a chat with the B613 agent who killed his son for him to have another term or Rowand to get his revenge for sleeping with his daughter. Then it just seems like anyone can kill anyone, blood splatted, weapons dropped, footprints, finger prints, bullets residue everywhere and barely a crime scenes investigated by the police, just the attorney general secretary doing goodness what. Pope always seems to cause someone's death and I never understood why her curtains was always opened, when it would be clear people were watching her. Just before she was kidnapped she was shown she was being watched, instead she was dancing around with wine and her curtains opened. Then her big old chunky spyhole on her door was hideous, whole point about spyholes is checking who is outside before letting them know you are home. Why wasn't she in a building where someone needs to get past reception security before they can knock on her door, if she was worth a war and $2 billion? It is a shame to see great actors, acting the life out of an exaggerated show. Rowan's acting was the best though. I will continue to watch these old episodes, but clearly the stories were written as the show was filmed and written by someone high as a kite, because some of the scenes are/were just nuts. The most shocking, as in surprising, to me was the reveal of Papa Pope. But I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that it should've been so obvious. Liz's death this past season was also a shock, since it literally came out of nowhere.
But if I had to choose a moment that absolutely shook me, I would have to pick Huck discovering that his girlfriend had murdered his family. For some reason that moment just disturbed me more than any other, and I haven't been able to watch that episode since.

To think, there was a time in this show, long ago, when I thought Olivia was a good person with her wearing the white hat and Gladiators lectures but she turned out to be no different than her father or any of the others.
Also, only 3 of these 10 didn't involve someone's death. This is more like a kill list.

Olivia Pope is a role model. She teaches women viewers to be assertive and when she speaks people listen. Of course, most of us don't have the sort of power she does that allows her to be such a superhero - and she makes some very serious mistakes - but she still inspires us to be strong, successful people.

Show started out good, but I stopped watching in season 4. The main character turned out to be a sniveling wimp. However, 2 huge stars of this show are Huck and the president. Fantastic actors! Hope I see more of them!

i LOVE this! but feel like David Rosens death, Harrisons death and Olivias abortion should have been included also when olivia admits to all those reports that shes the Presidents mistress like that was a woah moment

The shocking moment for me would always be Cyrus was actually responsible indirectly for Frankie's death, when I actually thought he is good. But last episode is not upto mark.

Season 3 was the last great season of Scandal. Season 4 was meh and predictable other than the kidnapping plot which had a ridiculous ending
