The last one makes it seem like he was a complete unknown before Hamilton. He already had a Tony and a Grammy. Pretty good CV there for wanting to write some songs for a Disney film. Like they completely forgot In The Heights existed. If you know Moana and not In the Heights just look up It Won't Be Long Now, and compare it to How Far I'll Go. You hear those and just go, yeah same writer.

I would add the fact that he wrote the Spanish lyrics to the 2009 revival of West Side Story. I don't speak Spanish very well, but my husband does. We saw it in 2010, and he kept raving about the brilliance of the Spanish translations before we even knew who LMM was!
