In Episode One The Hook-Handed Man hands Count Olaf some cake. He describes one of them as 'lemony' and Count Olaf says he told him to never say that word. I have to say I was a bit disappointed when I didn't see it mentioned in the video.
0: 02 was this just too obvious to be in the list?
In case you haven't noticed, yes I have watched this show over twelve times

reply

I noticed multiple times how characters are slating watching tv/streaming ie Netflix and in series one it seems count Olaf is the only person saying anything positive about it and he is the villain. In series 2 it seems more mixed but still seeing the odd lines here and there either praising or slating watching tv/streaming services.

Here's one they missed: Denouement as in Hotel Denouement in the Penultimate Peril, means the final part of a play, movie, or narrative in which the strands of the plot are drawn together and matters are explained or resolved. Hotel Denouement is a fitting name for the place where so many important events take place.

Can we talk about how one of the first sentences in the show was neither the fire department nor volunteer fire department could make it in time which was VFD the whole mystery of the show which I missed watching the first time sadly all the trouble and it couldve been determined with 1 episode

Also, a lo of people might not know or remember this,
Snicket also released another series books, it was called, All the Wrong Questions.
In all the wrong questions it is set in Staind by the Sea, which Lemony mentions in the Penultimate Peril.
Just another little Easter Egg! :3

One missing egg is Violet and Klaus dressed up as the Siamese twins Beverly and Elliott, being a reference to the psycho horror movie Dead ringers with Jeremy Irons in a double role as gynaecologists twin brothers Beverly and Elliott. Great movie btw!

They didnt mention the james brown song: Violet: what's the thing james brown said?
Klaus: I've got something that makes me wanna shout.
Lemony snicket: I've got something that tells me what it's all about
V+k: I'M SUPER BAD!
