2: 23 Believe it or not, its actually okay to eat bugs. Theres even a fancy word for bug eating, which is entomophagy. The most commonly eaten bugs are mealworms and crickets, which are usually either deep fried and seasoned like chips or dipped in chocolate just like the Other Mothers cocoa beetles from Zanzibar! If youre wondering what entomophagy is like, insects are a bit crunchy because of the exoskeleton and they also taste a bit like salt and vinegar chipsor at least thats what ants taste like, which Ive actually eaten!

Notice how EVER single person she met and her mom warned her to not go with the other mother even the other father warned her when he was singing Coraline a song he warned Coraline that the other mother was watching her and always watching her and he called Coraline a doll which represents the coraline look alike doll he said Shes a peach shes a doll and our eyes will be on Coraline and the cat said maybe she wants something to eat which was representing the three children

In one scene Coraline's dad calls her a disney dreamer. This means disney and disney movies are a thing in this world and since Henry Selick directed Nightmare before christmas (which Wybie SEEMS eh? To be a fan of) add to that the dollar bill joke and Henry Selick has canonically inserted himself in to the Coraline universe

I found this but you never showed it. When she trips on the rug and finally gives up there is 2 bumps. Then when she is heading downstairs there only appears to be 1 bump. Time ( 2 bumps: 4: 58 ) ( When she is jumping down stairs time: 5: 11 - 5: 16.

i recently rewatched the movie and STILL never noticed the shadow portraits. now i know ill never stop looking at it. i havent seen the movie enough times to know every word but ive got that ghost children scene down pat. love this movie so much

Another cool fact: Pause this video at 1: 28 and look at the picture. In the picture theres Coraline, her mom, and her dad, except Coraline has brown hair in the pic. The reason behind this is probably because she died her Hair!
