For the record, I had three tickets to Hamilton: End of March, end of April, and the day before Labor Day 2020. ended up returning all three. Getting back. Come From Away is a definite YES (had tickets to see it again. Dear Evan Hansen is a definite YES (had tickets to see it again. Kinky Boots is a definite YES (saw it twice; last time was President's Day week 2020. The Book of Mormon (saw it twice) was the last show I saw before the lockdown. Saw it March 10th. lockdown March 13th.

Honestly Im kind of upset that the book of Mormon was that high on the list. The number 2 spot rightfully belongs to Newsies just for being itself. Its just absolutely amazing. Jeremy Jordan nailed the role of Jack Kelly. But thanks for putting get it at least number five

Yall talk about them forgetting heathers and Be more chill and Im just chilling over here happy that Once got at least an honorable mention. Would have liked to see it on the list though its in my top 5 musicals of all time.
reply

Great list, but Book Of Mormon is way better than Hamilton, like it blows Hamilton out of the water. Not even close, they shouldn't even be compared.
Other than that, the list is almost perfect.

Im still in shock wondering how some of these musicals (that Ive never heard about) made this list and Anastasia wasnt even an honorable mention!
Does this person really know her Broadway?

reply

they got me when the first clips they showed were finding neverland and bridges of madison county
also I might have cried when they put once and gentleman's guide in the honorable mentions

reply

While i'm happy for Hamilton, Hadestown, and Mean Girls for getting a spot (I love them all dearly) I THINK WE MISSED ONE: Moulin Rouge! The Musical! Is freaking amazing
reply

MsMojo: If you still havent managed to snag tickets to see this production are you even a REAL Broadway fan?
Hamilton Tickets: +$200 a pop
Me: Disney+ is cheaper

reply

The fact that Hadestown is an honorable mention is ridiculous it's better than all but maybe Hamilton better in my opinion and won 8 freaking Tony's Waitress also got screwed
reply

If you havent managed to snag tickets to Hamilton yet, are you a real broadway fan?
Yeah but they are freaking expensive and sell out in basically a blink of an eye

reply

hadestown and waitress are only honorable mentions? no beetlejuice or heathers? also hamilton is amazing but definitely not the best, it's kind of overrated tbh
reply

My list
10 Mean Girls
9 Matilda
8 Evan Hansen
7 In the Heights
6 Carrie
5 Cats
4 Something Rotton
3 Les Mis
2 Hamilton
1 HEATHERS!

reply

I honestly am shocked that Hadestown didn't make the list. It has one of the most beautifully written scores, and it is just so bone-chilling and incredible.
reply

I know everyones gonna attack me for saying this, but I didnt like Hamilton. Although really, I just stop liking some thing once it becomes overhyped.
reply

Is it just me that was very mildly annoyed when she asked me if I was a real Broadway fan if I hadn't seen Hamilton. I can't afford it watch mojo
reply

reply

reply

I still have to see many of these.
My favorites are Matilda, Newsies & Kinky Boots. I would also move Once into the top 5.

reply

Y'know the guy in Something Rotten singing A Musical reminds me of Beetlejuice, like that couldn't been him as a human
reply

heck yeeaaaaassssssss hamilton is on the top of the list (no. 1. im sooooo happyyyyyyyy. they have good taste clearly
reply

Dear Evan Hansen was the last musical I saw before quarantine began, and Im so lucky that it was that. Its so amazing!
reply

Where are shows like big fish, half a sixpence, great comet, Barnum, blood brothers, heathers, Joseph, Mary poppins
reply

I can say that being in Matilda as a background dancer in a local production is the hardest musical I have ever done
reply

I'm glad that dear Evan Hansen gotten but it's of course that Hamilton got first place Hamilton's amazing
reply

I sure would like to have seen The Band's Visit in the list somewhere. A show with a whole lot of soul.
reply

If you think Hadestown doesnt deserve more than an honorable mention, are you really a Broadway fan?
