What about these lessons
People can change (when Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos decided they want to be good instead of evil like their parents) (descendants)
Or
Don't run away from your problems (when Mal feels like a misfit in Auradon and decides to go home to the isle of the lost instead on talking it out with her friends) (descendants 2)
Or
Don't judge a book by it's cover (when Ben proposes to Mal and Audrey thinks Mal is a villain even tho I'm pretty sure she was there when Mal Evie Jay and Carlos choose good instead of evil so she turns herself into a villain to win Ben over) (and she also sings the amazing song queen of mean(descendants 3)
I'm a really big descendants fan
Bye gotta go listen to queen of mean a few hundred more times

Totally missing the well-hidden depression subplot in The Edge of Seventeen. Nadine totally displays all the signs, and a line in the film about her being off medication gives that a lot of weight. When I first saw the film and it got to her breakdown at the end and I realized what was really going on, I was struck. Great film.

I know this list is about life lessons but I dont remember if you ever did a list on top ten best friends in movies but if you do or you have and you do another one I think Peter Parker and Ned Leeds from the MCU Spider-Man movies are iconic and would be in the top five of a list like that if not number one.

Rebel Without a Cause taught me to rekindle relationships before its too late
The Outsiders taught me to be proud of who you are rather than fuss over what you are not.
Pretty in Pink taught me to go extra lengths for my loved ones

YES! That's why teen movies are my favourite genre, since adolescence is a time that we all go through. That's why John Hughes films have stood the test of time, since their messages can be applied to today's teens. High School Never Ends!

These are all lessons that are in every other fortune cookie so apart from superbad there wasn't a single lesson that I can actually recommend anyone transfer to their life.

Usually when I ask people if they've seen Remember the titans they say no which I think is upsetting simply because of the lessons that it teaches

10-the only person who's opinion matters is your own. If my parents really knew me they would not like me.

If you do a part 2 include TV movies. High school Musical and the Descendants trilogy have good morals too.
