How loyal the 4 seem to be together cuts to Archie and Betty kissing while they were dating Veronica and jughead again yeah theyre very loyal, also Cheryl isnt well written shes just awful so stop making out that shes the best character and accept the fact that shes does horrible things, is and asshole to everyone around and when she calls people names she talks like shes from the early 1900s, except for Veronica her dialogue is the worst, Cheryl was already ruined just because Cheryl looks good doesnt mean she is so stop taking a blind eye to the things shes said and done

The reason they show is so different and cringeworthy is because the writers still try to make a few connections with the comics and the time period. I agree with the representation suggestion, but I think Riverdale is perfectly fine if you know anything about the time period the comics they're based off of were written and/or you've read the comics. I grew up on the comics. I believe that the Riverdale writers are doing a FANTASTIC job of connecting the comics of the 20th century with modern day ideals.

why would they make it so that the Serpents are Jughead? what the heck. jugs shining moment was as a serpent and i completely agree with serpents being fun and interesting. and we had potential with the pretty poisons vs serpents. jughead and ronnies character season 5 has been done so dirty. and choni is. OVER! i don't get it. and i really do miss pops milkshakes with the core four. so for right now im going to pretend sesaon 5 does not exist until further notice.

i strongly disagree. im usually not big on love triangles, but in riverdale, the love triangle is just making it better. the cheating storyline is the most normal thing that has happened in riverdale in a long time. and to be frank, breaking up the group is a good thing. the same old boring ships, and the yearly booth scene at pops was so overplayed. and this is the PERFECT time to explore barchie, due to the 7 year time jump.

I absolutely HATE the idea of dark betty. she thinks she is dark but really expressed it through a cringe costume. I dont understand why jughead didnt laugh and walk out of the room when she put it on for sx. If i was him, i would be really uncomfortable. I liked the idea of her having serial killer genes more than the idea of her thinking this weird darkness inside her changed how she looked.

How about no musical episodes. Backtracking characters with repetitive character story lines that go no where and are dragged out. No extra characters that make no sense. actually thinking of something outside of there friend group and no repeated family drama. actually spending time with good characters and dont waste their time on screen. AND THE PLOT HOLES. FIX THE PLOT HOLES.

Im a bughead shipper. But i think that the couples need to change. It is boring now. I hate barchie but i think its good for the show. I really need veronica and jughead together/ really good friends. Camila and Cole have such a great chemistry why dont they do anything with that? And they need to stop with daddy.

I always felt like Riverdale should have 13 episode maximum per season. The seasons are way too long, so people get bored.
Also, in the comics didnt Ethel Muggs and Jughead get together? Why wasnt that relationship introduced?
Also, Josie and the pussycats just suddenly disappeared which was super annoying.

In my opinion, after this season, I believe none of what has happened so far actually happened. My theory is that everything that has happened the last 4 seasons is all apart of some book that Jughead is writing or something along those lines. It already showed that on the season finale.

Has anyone noticed that parents of the main characters have very story line literally. For example most of the main characters parents wanted a divorce, one of their parent is dead (or dying), main characters parents have a history with their lovers parents, etc.

agree with everything except the love triangle thing. its getting soooo boring with Betty and Jughead and Veronica and Archie. Cheryl and Toni used to be good but its so sad that Toni only gets scenes with Cheryl and not alone

I like this show and season 4 was actually my favorite. It ended abruptly minus a few episodes bc of Corona. These characters arent supposed to be realistic. Theyre caricatures of comic characters. I accept it as such

Seasons 1 and 2 are the best of Riverdale, but it went downhill in Season 3 and Season 4, I still like the show, I just wished it was good, hopefully it will get better in Season 5.
