Georges death was one of the biggest shockers for me. We were all expecting Izzie to die but threw a curve ball with that one. Dennys death was a bigger shocker to me honestly. The interns went through so much and he made it through so when he died, I wasnt expecting it. Derek dying kind of wasnt because we knew he was leaving the show and lets be honest. we knew he wasnt going to just leave Meredith and the kids! Also, Maggie revealing shes Ellis daughter, then finding out shes also Richards daughter, should have been on the list!

Does no one else feel like it makes complete since that Alex would leave to go be a father to his kids. He could never be an absent father for his kids. I don't believe for a second he would have left without even so much as telling Jo in person though they messed it up doing that. I think really he would have told Jo he had to go and gave her the choice to come with but obviously she wouldn't have unless Jo's actor wanted to leave the show too.

Why cant they just make Alex accepting a job elsewhere but still be with Jo? I mean why the hell would you dump 15 years of character development and just write off a character who fans hated the first season but undoubtedly liked him more and more as the show progressed, even Katherine heigl said that it was a shit move for the writers

George shouldve been number 1. I only started watching the show recently, but after Georges death I decided to just give up on watching anymore - it was too shocking and I cried so hard I gave myself a headache. Absolutely did not see that coming! But seriously, I dont think I can watch anymore after George died lmao

I dont think Christina was uncommitted to burke but just not into the idea of getting married and putting on a big show, i think she just wanted a marriage and just be with him and he needed the ceremony and when he saw her panic to walk down the isle he left her without talking to her and just assumed a scenario

I will always hate the way the writers got Alex out, he would never have done that. I would've preferred a thousand times that he had gone with Jo somewhere else than the excuse that he left her. He wasn't like that! They damaged the entire evolution of one of the best Grey's anatomy characters.

The only people who could possibly like Alex's exit, are Izzex fans, or those that just don't like Jo. But I dont belive that they feel sorry for Jo. They don't care that she got hurt in the process. As Long as their favorite couple get to be together, then everybody else be damned

They could have put Derek in a Coma and write that he's in a hospice incase he changed his mind about returning.

The way Alex was wrote off - going back to Izzie and leaving Jo was unforgivable. Such a pathetic end to one of the best character growths on the show. I don't know what the writers were thinking but it was horrific!

The writers after shonda destroyed multiple characters(Bailey, Alex, Altmond a little) they have utterly no clue what theyre doing and the show has fallen apart in the last 3 seasons or so. Its legitimately sad
