Zack did do one scheme that helped one of his friends. In the SATs episode, Jessie only scored around a 1200 on her SATs, and representatives from different colleges came to Bayside, so students can talk to them about wanting to attend their colleges and one of the representatives was from Stansbury (Saved By the Bell's parody of Stanford) which is the college Jessie dreamed of going to her whole life. At first the representative thought Jessie was Stansbury material when Mr. Belding told the representative that Jessie is a straight A student and student council president, but then, when she asked Jessie what her SAT score was and when she told her her score, she told Jessie that there are more perfectly adequate colleges that she should try talking to, which got Jessie upset, so Zack's scheme was to have James, a part time actor who works at the Max go to Bayside and impersonate a representative from Harvard who's only there for Jessie. When Zack talks to the representative from Harvard, he told Zack that he only came to see Jessie, so Zack tries to tell him that he scored around 1500 on his SATs, but the representative from Harvard says that a decent SAT score is not enough to impress Harvard because that's only one test score and they want a student with more qualities, such as straight A's and certain extra curricular activities, and Jessie is Bayside's only student with those qualities and the Stansbury representative starts to show regret on her face. Zack then has James leave the gym before Slater takes Jessie to the Stansbury representative to tell her off for the way she disrespected Jessie, but they bump into each other by accident, and then when Slater begins to tell off the Stansbury representative, she says that Jessie is her number one choice with an apology for the mistreatment she gave her the other day and hopes that she'll come to Stansbury and tells Jessie to tell the representative from Harvard that coming to Bayside was nothing but a waste of his time and then Jessie gets confused, saying that no one from Harvard is here, but the Stansbury representative says that they are and they want her and then that's when Jessie realized that Zack had James come to Bayside to impersonate a Harvard representative who only came for her as a way to get the Stansbury representative to change her mind about accepting Jessie, but she decides that she doesn't want to go to Stansbury anymore because of their true colors, so that's one scheme of Zack's that did one of his friends a favor.

mark paul gosselaar and zac morris are not to blame. its the shows creators who are- they created stereotypes, the handsome guy, the jock, the geek, the beautiful girl etc and rammed home these stereotypes - the message is No matter how nice /kind you are, how hard you work in school and how giving you are to other people, the only thing that matters is GOOD LOOKS. and you will be judged only according to that - as someone who suffered terribly in high school, this show symbolizes what is wrong with society these days and should have been taken off the air as quickly as possible

I cant figure out if many of you are legitimately angry at the Zach Morris character, or if its all in good fun. Yes he did things that are looked down upon. Its a TV show. Youre not gonna get an audience without having a sly character that ruffles feathers. Lessons are found in every episode. When I hear the word toxic being used in society today its an automatic dismissal. This era were living in will be known as the age of the offended. And that in and of itself is absolutely toxic.

In the drunk driving episode, Zack was an idiot, but to be honest, it was really hard to feel sorry for any one of them. They're high school seniors and damn well should have known better than to get in a car with a drunk driver (and they didn't want Screech, who hadn't had a drink at all, to drive them just. because. And in fairness, Jessie was just as bad as Zack in the episode with the female wrestler for being a jealous pinhead.

Zack is a hero in this episode and may have saved Wendys life! The original saved by the bell is still so awesome! The 80s and 90s were so much better then today. Ive heard in the media that being overweight is just an alternative lifestyle. Dont get me wrong to each their own when it comes to attractiveness but truth be told obesity is more dangerous than smoking and not telling people this is very harmful to their health.

I think #3 is as much on Lisa as it is on Zack. In the episode a sober Screech did in fact volunteer to drive the others home, but Lisa quickly vetoed the idea, saying that Screech couldnt even walk without bumping into something. Had Lisa swallowed her pride and let Screech drive, Zack wouldnt have driven drunk.

Mark-Paul went on to do much better shows. Seeing this list makes me appreciate him as John Clark Junior on N. Y. P. D Blue. It makes sense this show was only on for four years. Even that was too long. Between Zach being a total bastard and screech socially awkward makes this show hard to watch now.

The one I hated but wasn't included here was when Zack asks Kelly to the senior prom and when she tells him she has a date already, he sabotages the date and manipulates Kelly into going with him after all. He can't even be happy for her. Such trash.
