Dirty Candy always gave me Jem and the Holograms vibe. They even match the hair colors for the most part (No Hologram had Yellow hair)
Also about clothes. and I may be wrong. but I thought I noticed a color pattern there too. Luke always has something blue on, Alex has pink, Reggie has red, and Julie always has something of all three color, or purple which is the combination. Not always the entire outfit or an entire peice of clothing, but the colors are there. even as if just a stripe or accessory.

I see Julie and the Phantoms I watch it! This is the best series out their no contest for me! I love the friendships, the representation for POC & LGBTQ, the music, the supportive families, the humour, the flirty moments between Juke and Willex, the cast all get along so well, whats not to love about this show!

Thank you for making this video! A lot of people still haven't heard about the show because Netflix did a bad job of marketing it so we need all the help we can get to get more people to watch it before they cancel it

so another one is that in Stand tall and I got the music Julies coloured hairs are pink, blue and red. the same as in Stand tall Reggie had a RED costume, Luke a BLUE costume and Alex had a PINK costume.
