Havent seen this show in along time, I kinda forget it, but due to what I can remember whats left in my memory. Lol! I will say for me that the top 3 deaths I really cant ever forget that will forever break my heart is, which I feel, is a very underrated death would be.
1) Jos death at the altar. I was so sick for crying so much at it! I mean her acting in that scene should have been a Grammy Award Winning Nomination for first place! That hit me worse than Hatchi a dogs tail. Woo!
2) When Elena died, & Bonnie went to go see her on the other side. & Elena told Bonnie to do the pillow thing with the feathers in the air one last time. Yep! Thats a close call with my 1st place. That had in me TEARS! I thought I was dying myself from hyperventilation!
3) A tie for me when Elenas brother Jeremy passed away & Carolines Mother. Both got me as well really bad! It was just so damn sad! After a while, it made me feel like watching this show for along time, I was losing family of my own! so never again not for along time Ill be watching it actually after explaining what I just said. Makes more sense why I took a break from it. Damn, fool me once. You fool me twice!

These actors r brilliant! The emotion they brought was heartbreaking n raw! I don't cry but sometimes they had me blubbering! Elena, Bonnie, Stefan, Caroline, even poor little Matt made that face n his tear dropped n I was like oh no! This show was amazing but I don't know it got all the credit it should! I found it 10yrs later n fell in love! I suppose that's the beauty of it now, when u discover it u r owned! N then u find the Originals! Good God! VDs end dwindled but some really great work thru out! Amazing!

The moment when elena lost jeremy and had a breakdown was the saddest scene ever cause i can never imagine that happening to someone. Last member for her family died. It was way too cruel. I was so sad. I know he came back later but at that time elena thought he was dead cause he was dead so it was too heartbreaking

As a viewer TVD was an emotional rollercoaster cant imagine what it was like for the actors. Full blown emotions on full view (nothing hidden) no face covering or rubbing eyes. Elena (Nina) scenes Jeremy & Damon dying were incredibly well done & acted. Would love to know how they were produced on set.

Theyre all like sad but the ones that made me cry the most were definitely Lizs death, Damons death like Elena grieving, Elena turning off her humanity, Enzos death, Elena saying goodbye, and ofc the whole Stefan situation on the finale all made me sob the others were sad but those really hit me

the saddest part for me was when anna and Jeremy had to separate. I HATE bonnies character. I was sad that Jeremy and anna couldnt be together but Im happy anna wasnt alone anymore when she met her mother, though. Jeremy and anna were the best couple you cant even change my mind

To me when Bonnie was a ghost she witness her father getting killed by Silas in front of everybody in Mystic Falls who were being compelled by Silas so they won't remember it that episode broke my heart she didn't have any family left in Mystic Falls after that happen to her

personally i think an at least honorable mention shouldve been when klaus makes stefan the ripper and leave town, specifically the moment when he bursts through the bar doors,
is balling his eyes out, cant breathe, breaks down and calls elena but he has no words.

I was hoping that episode in season 7 (i think 7x10) when Damon cries to his mother in the phoenix stone. That was like first time we ever saw Damon totally break down and honestly, it was hard to watch.

Half of these were not even that sad. How come Rose's death was not included here? It represented her tragic life as a vampire and was the first time Damon's actual humanity and emotions were shown!
