Magic Dance is the most wholesome villain song until you get to, Slap that baby. Huh! As the World Falls Down is a love song but it's my favorite song from Labyrinth.
Other favorites are Stars, Professional Pirate, How Can I Refuse (from Barbie Princess and the Pauper) and Hellfire. Some Disney villain songs aren't my favorite but are pretty good, like Poor Unfortunate Souls.

Good list, but 1 song I can't disagree with more. Stars is not a villain number. In fact Javert i snot a villian. He is a cop that just only sees it as black and white, once you commit a crime you're just a bad guy that needs to be punished. this is shown by what he does when faced with the overwhelming proof that this view is just wrong.

The director's cut version of Mean Green Mother is definitely the best. Spoiler alert:
In this version Audrey 2 wins, he consumes Seymour (he has already consumed Audrey) at the end of the number, then we go straight to the finale Don't Feed The Plants where swarms of Audrey 2's are seen taking over the world.

Poor Unfortunate Souls from The Little Mermaid is one of my favorites. You could ha e this category with just animated villain songs!
Be Prepared from The Lion King,
Hellfire from The Hunchback of Notre Dame,
Friends on the Other Side from The Princess and the Frog, and soooo many more!

10: 25 Wow I forgot that Jack Black was a great singer but then again when he joins Hank Azarias Comic Book Guy in The Simpsons as his rival Milo you gotta give him some credit during the song CBG sings about loneliness before meeting his future wife Kumiko

There's quite a bit of overlap between this and the Boardway villain songs list. It's a bit disappointing considering you explicitly excluded songs that originated in movies even if they did end up on Broadway, but for this list you just used adaptations.

Totally epic list. I was wondering what would be better then #3, but #1? Yes. EPIC! Some great songs in here. A Disney song or two. Poor Unfortunate Souls? But #1 is definitely one of my all time faves! :D

I have a very vivid memory of 4th grade when my friends and I used to harass another one of our friends, Vivian, by literally just saying slap that Vivian, make her pee and smacking her. The good old days.
reply

You totally missed Poor Unfortunate Souls from The Little Mermaid. (And I agree with many of the others that Magic Dance should have been #1. David Bowie is the reason that the Labyrinth movie endures.
reply

A very good list of evil songs with the focus on both physically and spiritually horrible things. I would have a hard time choosing a best because I love Bette, Bowie, Burnett, & Curry all the time.
reply

Last Midnight is my favorite song in the movie in the Broadway Bernadette Peters sang that song is doing same thing is Meryl Streep in 2014 and same songs in 1991 version of Into The Woods
reply

Fun yet not so fun fact:
During the filming of Labyrinth, the baby who was cast as Toby did NOT like David Bowie to the point of urinating on David Bowie's lap during production.

reply

Pretty Women I suppose. Johnny Depp did such a fantastic job as the Demon Barber of Fleet Street and he never failed to make me feel relaxed with his deep and smooth voice.
reply

For just song: magic dance. For performance over all: sweet transvestite. Both songs are very well done, but Tim Curry's performance edges out David Bowie in my opinion.
reply

OMG, I always had such a crush on David Bowie because of the labyrinth! I mean I love all his music but seeing him as Jareth and singing. hearts swoon!
reply

It's a crime against music that Lion King's Be Prepared isn't on here. We also need Toxic Love from Ferngully and Hellfire from The Hunchback of Notre Dame
reply

I'm actually more drawn to I'm Going Home, which is ALSO in the RHPS. Curry sings quite a bit in this movie. ALL the songs are good in this movie. :D
reply

I want it now, Pretty women, Feed me (git it, I put a spell on you, Magic dance (btw Labyrinth is my favorite movie of all time as all songs are awesome)
reply

Sorry, but when you say _Scott Pilgrim, _ all I can think about is Negative XP's Scott Pilgrim vs. the World Ruined a Whole Generation of Women.
reply

Hello. Jareth the Goblin king is our favourite villain. My eldest Grandson is named after Jareth. We love Labrynth and watch it on many occasions
reply

the top 2 are my faves. Just rewatched RHPS the other night. However remember the dragon in Pete's Dragon is Elliot. Pete is the little boy
reply

How some songs from Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog? For instance Everything You Ever the final chapter of how he becomes a super villain.
reply

I find it entertaining that not only are 2 Jim Henson movies on this list, but Tim Curry is both at the bottom & top of this list [: )]
reply

Ttime stamp 2: 29. his name is Elliot, NOT Pete the Dragon! At least act like you've seen movies you're talking about in videos.
reply

David Bowie was my first childhood crush. I fell in love with him after watching the Labrynth and I would have been his Queen.
reply

I could NOT believe that Magic dance only got #2, but I'm so glad I finished the vid. #1 is DEF the best of the best.
reply

Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera and Be Prepared from The Lion King are my favorite villain songs.
reply

Pity Russell Crowe didnt give up talentless waste of space, just about as useless and untalented as Mike Myers
reply

How did Oliver Twist, Mr Fagin not make this list?
You've got to pick a pocket or two
How?
