I dont understand how Vanessa Williams was treated unfairly. She knew those nude photos existed and lied about it. Thats against her contract. The photographer was definitely wrong for releasing those photos without her consent (supposedly. But more than likely she wouldve signed a release stating that the photographer owns all images and can do whatever he wants with them. And then years later she decides to bring up the fact that she was supposedly a minor when those pictures were taken. Where were her parents? Why was she doing a nude photoshoot at 16? None of it made sense. Shes not 100% at fault here but shes definitely not a victim

I just have the issues with the whole Padgett thing. I mean we don't have men parading up and down in speedos and tight jeans and pass it off as a scholarship Padgett.
But these women are still human. They make mistakes. But what they did prior to winning, should not have anything to do with with their current status.
But I do remember when Heather Whitestone was crowned Miss America in 1995 and was the first deaf Miss America. Every one was worried if she could handle it. And she didn't an outstanding job. She spoke at my college and is a very eloquent speaker and very nice.

I don't know about the rest of you but I don't agree with #1. What about Oxana Fedrova resigning as Miss Universe in 2001. That was pretty shocking. It was the first time ever in the history of Miss Universe that Miss Universe resigned and the first runner-up rule was actually enforced. No one saw that resignation coming at all. There lots of speculation as to why she resigned but no real reason was ever. Also what about the murder of Monica Spear Miss Venezuela 2005 who competed at Miss Universe 2005. She and her husband were brutally murdered in Venezuela.

It was actually Miss Universe Philippines 2019 that won the National Costume in MU2019. Steve said it right that time. They only put Miss Malaysia, maybe because she was 2nd and that Miss Philippines, who was still in the top 20 line after the announcement of top 10 which didn't give her enough time to change and go to Steve's area in the stage.

So technically Steve didn't mess up but miss Malaysia was also very confused. Miss Universe confirmed Philippines won best natcos on Twitter the following day.

With Jonbenet Ramsey, its obvious her parents had a hand in it. There was so much evidence showing the killer was in the house. Such as the pineapple (I believe it was) on the counter still. And ripped up practice ransom notes. It was either the parents or the bother.

Honestly Vanessa Williams incident made her the most famous of any winner. No one really cares about those pictures. She became an accomplished musical artist and actress and the only winner besides maybe Kenya Moore who most people can even remember.

The Pia Wurtzbach scandal never left everybodys minds. Ms Colombia never felt so humiliated on stage. Pia even couldnt believe it herself that shes the real winner of the title. Id probably say its pretty iconic looking back at moments like these.
