I wish the writers would give us more drama with this complex character. He comes from a long legacy of salt-lifers: what his father Luke is is also in his DNA. I would like to see him fight it a little more, but also embrace the good part of his roots, while still being a goofball.

JJ is literally one of the best characters to come from a TV show which makes Rudy Pankow a really great actor. JJ saying goodbye to his dad made me tear up. He deserves the world, he's such a great friend and i love him so much

Rudy Pankow is everybodys new favorite actor. JJ is probably the most realest character in the show. Totally my favorite, and hes like the protective big brother of the crew.
