The video is incorrect on the point at which Sheldon started hating engineering. It's season 5 episode 7 when Sheldon takes an engineering class and he didn't like his professor. The young Sheldon says I hate engineering! after he was locked out of the classroom, because he was late. Howard narrated part of that episode and asks adult Sheldon if that's why he has a problem with engineering to which Sheldon answered evidently. The episode referred to in this video was adult Sheldon narrating when he already knew he hated engineering, but young Sheldon didn't know that yet.

Idr which episode it was but he was taking a civil engineers class being taught by a strict teacher and the assignment was to draw a schematic for a bridge he kept on handing papers in and kept getting rejected and then around the time class starts and the classroom door is locked wind blows on his paper and realizes the factor he was missing was wind and other natural occurences he made a schematic but was too late and he stated that his hatred of engineers stemmed from that experience but when he met howard he was fueled by his hatred.

I think his thing with engineers may have come because of the NASA engineer who ignores his idea and doesn't care and the engineering professor he had in college who gives him a really hard time.
And I was surprised to see that Sheldon's hatred towards Geologists comes from a girl who break his heart, was missing.

Sheldon's constant dissing of engineers and Howard was explained in season 5 (forgot the episode) where he admits that after Howard messed up Sheldon's slide show for a presentation, it caused Sheldon to retaliate and constantly diss Howard and all Engineers.
