The one where they sued for being saved is real lol my mother is a nurse. Fully capable of saving a life during an emergency. Yet she will NEVER reveal herself as a medical professional bc she knows there's a 65% or more chance that if you try to save a life and that person lives, they can and most often do sue you for injury that might've occurred during the lifesaving treatment (such as cracking or breaking the ribcage during CPR/chest compressions, or cutting your side open to release excess fluid and intubate, leaving scars.

I personally feel like the moment in the first movie, when Mr. Incredible is trying to remember Buddy's name is a moment that should be here. Buddy, later known as Syndrome, is voiced by Jason Lee. When Mr. Incredible is trying to remember Buddy's name, he says Brody. Brody was the name of a character played by Jason Lee in the 1995 movie Mallrats.

Not to mention the scene in the Life's Incredibles again montage where they hint pretty blatantly that Helen and Bob are getting busy. Like when Bob and Helen pinch each other's butts, when he grabs him by the tie to kiss him and when she pulls him back into the house via her extended arms and he laughs and eagerly goes back inside.

What I don't understand about that guy winning the lawsuit against Mr. Incredible for preventing his suicide is, if it had been a law enforcement officer or a firefighter, it would have been perfectly legal. Seeing as the superheros worked for the U. S. government, wouldn't this also apply to them?

I remember the second disc of the incredibles how much content it had. especially that part where you hear some documents of all the supers and you see their stats and attributes. this alone made me wish Incredibles 2 of being a prequel showing how the Omnidroids killed the other superheroes

The first movie recently became my favorite Pixar movie BECAUSE I understood the adult references when I watched it again after a long time. I'm still amazed realizing that all those went over my head as a kid and now I somehow understand them. Kinda makes me think I've matured a bit hehe.

With hindsight, we can also read what's now referred to as cancel culture into the montage of superheros, getting sued in the first movie. Also, Syndrome's BS line serves as a tie-in to how conniving he is. (11/2/2021)

Syndrome's the Best villan the incredibles could've had. He doesn't compare to Evelyn or the underminer. Nice video ms mojo. Happy monday, and happy start of november (You know, after that spooky night of yesterday)

The classic Cartoon Network ran an updated New Adventures of Jonny Quest series in the 90s. Either series are excellent: well written and rather serious. An element a lot of animated series in the 80s lacked.
reply

Fun fact:
In the first movie, when Mr. Incredible is trying to guess Buddy's name, he first calls him Brodie, which could be a reference to Jason Lee's character from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

reply

Syndrome is the best Pixar villain
Because: He has a somewhat tragic backstory, his motivation is understandable, his goal is original and unique, & his plans are (mostly) thought out and well done

As an adult I finally understood the scene where Mr Incredible discovers the truth behind Kronos. He looked so relieved when he found out that Elastigirl and Frozone were still alive

Anyone can realize that heroes withy super strength can be tried for both assult and property destruction. The good-guys are just too thankful for their happy ending to notice.

They should make a third Incredibles film. After all, the villians Bomb Voyage and The Underminer were not given proper closure. For all we know, they could still be at large.

Jonny Quest

Later as a crossover with Tom and Jerry in 2015 as Tom and Jerry: Spy Quest.

reply

Haven't hit play yet but I'm guessing number 1 is people notice Just How Thicc Elastigirl Is!
(After video) Not a bad list but THAT should have been on there

reply

Mostly Helen Parr/Elastigirl is the only PIXAR character who got us hock to her after seeing her mirror. The Incredibles is still my favorite animated movie.

I noticed And got busy reference when I saw the movie in theaters when I was 12. I have had acid reflux since I was 8. 21 years later it's still annoying.
reply

144: I think cut off curse words have been happening a few times in animated films. Well if anyone heard Astrid said the F-bomb in How to Train Your Dragon
reply

Violet is a pretty relatable character
I think more scenes where she used her powers to put her big mouthed brother in his place would have been cool

reply

Since Ms. Mojo went there with the Johnny Quest reference, the island sequence in the 2004 movie is borrowed from a season 2 episode of Speed Racer.
reply

#5 also makes an argument about good Samaritan laws. You can't sue for an injury in some places if the result is your life being saved.
reply

Kinda weird that Syndrome's Line And Got Busy that I always say everytime I watch it as a kid Actually has a deeper meaning
reply

When I was a child I thought that Helen was angry at Bob for being a hero in secret not because she thought that he was cheating
reply

145: I was 5 years old when I saw The Incredibles in theaters. I find that moment ridiculous but also dark, even a heroes death
reply

Wow, I feel so weird hearing about this Johnny quest considering I grew up with the cartoon Johnny test. So many similarities
reply

The Incredibles should have thier very own Disney Plus Disney Pixar Animated TV Series for Disney Plus's Streaming Service!
reply

The Incredibles could probably fill the entire list. Its probably the most adult and darkest of the Pixar films
reply

Mr. Incredible = Superman
Elastigirl = Ms. Marvel
Violet = Invisible Woman
Dash = The Flash
Jack Jack = Rocket

reply

Im 15, and I struggle with acid reflux cuz of cystic fibrosis. Trust me its super annoying and I have it every day.
