Watching this makes me realise two things: what great actresses they all are and how deeper and more realistic the scripts used to be. These same actresses deserve so much more than the scripts off Just Like That which does a deservice to those characters and the real lives of women in their fifties and sixties. I still watch it but l keep hoping for more from it.

Charlotte gets a lot of hate for being traditional or unrealistic but she just outwardly expresses what a lot of people have, the desire to get married. She is sometimes judge mental but her and Miranda have the most growth and character development in series. Shes a great friend by the end of the series and a great wife. I see myself the most in charlotte haha.

I never liked the episode where Charlotte was pressured to loan Carrie money. Charlotte should never have given Carrie the ring; Carrie and the others should never have been upset when she did not express a desire to give or loan her money. Mixing friendship and money CAN be super destructive - just look at how Carrie reacted when Charlotte refused.

Charlotte is so funny. I love the scene where the four friends are over at charlottes apartment for dinner when Trey starts telling the group that the card board baby was supposed to be funny; then charlotte tells Trey how about I bring a card board cutout of a flaccid penis in her high pitched whiny voice. I lmao every time

10) It's not all Trey's fault. Charlotte wasn't even a virgin, but insisted on waiting until their wedding night, and then he gives her what she said she wants. As much as deserves credit for trying, it obviously wasn't going to work, and the signs were there, even before the wedding.
4) That walk was iconic.

I loved that she began to recognize her worth after her and trey separated. She found love in Harry and he added to her worth Harry didnt want her to change for him he took her as she was. She did all that changing for Trey to treat her right and with Harry she only had to be herself

Gotta love all the Carrie haters in the comments. Darren Star should be proud. That was his intent on her character. To have the main character imperfect. And a bit of the villain. She was the most realistic. Gotta love all the perfect ppl in the comments that have never made a mistake

My favorite moment is when Charlotte goes off on Carrie after she finds out she's cheating on her boyfriend with Big (married ex) and Charlotte's points and feelings are valid. She was about to get married, too. And sees marriage as something to be respected.
reply

Yes, Charlotte had some beautiful moments. But, I would argue that during the series Samantha was consistently the best and most reliable of the 4 friends. And, for sure, Carrie was the worst. Out of the 4, Carrie was the only one who was a bad person.

Charlotte's best character moment was telling Carrie that she's being selfish in her relationship with Big and stands up for Natasha, no one else had the balls to stand up to Carrie then and Charlotte was so true to her beliefs in that moment. She slays
reply

You are stunning funny and intelligent. What is she, Natasha? Married thats all
That was my fave Charlotte moment. She could see how much Carrie was spiraling trying to prove herself to Bigs wife and interrupted her negative self talk

I relate the absolute most to Charlotte. Also love how she stayed true to herself and her dreams even though she'd occasionally get teased for being naive. In the end she did get her fairytale just not exactly as she had imagined it.
reply

when she yells NO to big when he calls off wedding just after Carrie beats him with flowers. holy heck she was so incredible. and the little way she walked in her dress to get in the car. went from dead serious to making me giggle
reply

I love when shes out wedding gift shopping for miranda with carrie and samantha and theyre not taking it seriously so shes like ok how about we get her a stapler and wrap it in poop
reply

Charlotte did get on my nerves sometimes with her preconceived notions of gender roles and sometimes prudish behavior but she was a decent person and always looked at the glass half full.

This narrator's tone when she says conservative makes it sound like it's BAD! Give me a break! As a real conservative woman I think calling Charlotte a conservative is a HIGH COMPLIMENT!
reply

I always loved Charlotte. She's the complete opposite of me as a person but I am surprised that a lot of people find her character annoying because I felt she was really believable
reply

They've kinda ruined her character in And Just Like That. She's become very smug, judgmental & self righteous, ever since she scored the fancy apartment, devoted hubby, & 2 kids
reply

Shes always judging Samantha for her choices until she does the same thing and realised shes more aweful than Samantha. Well, atleast she tried making up for her mistakes.
reply

I love Charlotte's character, I didn't see so many episodes but she was by far the best one to me, followed by Samantha, I didn't enjoy Miranda & Carrie's characters
reply

I love Charlotte! So many she's got such a good heart.
(I personally love, when she's converting to Judaism, that she asks if the pool has been drained and cleaned. )

reply

Charlotte leaving her apartment with her hair done and wearing the pink dress going to Bradys party after watching the Liz Taylor documentary. Priceless moment
reply

Charlotte telling Harry she doesnt care if he ever marries her because shed be lucky to be with him is one of my favourite moments of all time in that show.
reply

I know it was just a show, but these people will live in my heart as a true testament of friendship. I didn't expect to be emotional watching this.
reply

All she ever talks about is herself, and not about her friends, or reality. This is my opnion on Charlotte I did this, I did that - I, I, I, I.
reply

Whats wrong with not wanting to be with someone whos bi? Lol people are allowed to think that way there are enough people for everyone
reply

they were close as friends but they were openly jealous and passive aggressive when one of the other women gets something they want
reply

I really liked Trey instead of that awful jewish lawyer. She should have fought harder; in the end the mother won the battle.
reply

making up with harry should have been on the list, her friendship with wedding planner was the best and how she got her dog.
reply

My favorite was when Charlotte gave a reality check to Carrie over her affair with Big. Real friends call out their friends.
