The interesting thing about Willow and Tara is that because Tara decided to skip it (issues they had) without discussing them, there long term reasons the romance wouldn't have worked if Tara hadn't have been shot. Them talking and not immediately getting back together would have helped and also not put her in the bullets line of fire. Their romance wasn't fixed by the end, the issues were ignored because Tara decided to skip talking about what needed talking about. That is just as much a true ending badly situation as Tara being shot.
The writers didn't know whether they wanted Cole to be good or evil. They had killed him off and broken him and Phoebe up so many times it was practically a relief to see him 100% dead.
I think I heard about Clarke and Lexa so often before I ever saw the series that I was desensitized to Lexa's death before I started watching. Sad really. Because I think that one definitely would have gotten me in the same way Outlaw Queen still gets me. Same desensitization happened in _Game of Thrones. _ I expected the worst (The White Walkers to be the ultimate winners by killing all characters off, so when it didn't happen, what did was a better ending for me than most fans.

Bonnie and Enzo impossible not to root for Um no! I wanted Bonnie with Kai
Bonnie and Enzo had 0 chemistry.
Robin and Regina were boring together as well. I love OUAT and am usually a Robin Hood fan but the show's version of him was so dull and unimpressive (BBC Robin Hood was my fave. Regina was one of my fave characters and I shipped her with various characters throughout the show but never him.
Do love Willow and Tara. Grew up watching BTVS. Willow's vengeance story in Tara's name was epic though. Loved dark Willow.

I get the actor left the show but the writers could have done his ending so much better. I'd have rather he died sacrificing himself for Phoebe or something. Completely ruining his character was unnecessary. I never watched, and will never watch, the show beyond his death.
I was ready to quit The 100 upon Lexa's death with Lincoln's death being the final straw for me.

TVD had me disappointed too many times with the relationship arcs. Of all the characters Bonnie was probably one of the few of them that deserved a happy ending but I felt the enzo romance so contrived, does no one remember how cruel he was to Jeremy? Weirdly enough I was rooting for her and damon, elena was too self righteous and hypocritical, whereas damon and bonnie became such great friends, I could see them bring out the best in each other, not the worst.

Since you brought up Freddie and Effy from the UK version, why didn't you also mention Naomi and Emily? I recall in the last few episodes Naomi was in, she had developed cancer and was pretty much on her deathbed when Emily returned from whatever she was doing in the great state of New York in America. Yet another couple in the LGBTQ+ community that suffered this fate.

Im the straw at some of the amazing rake ups you totally ignored. First of all, Finn and Rachel! To high school lovers broken up the girl dates another person, the guy because of that person, and soon after dies! I dont know whats more tragic. Also, even though its not a done story I think the main relationship on how I met your father deserves mention.
