4: 11 I personally think it depends on age groups. Bluey is old enough to understand life isn't that fair, growing up with a sister and having to share. But Bingo is still fairly young. So it would make sense to do this with older kids and for the youngsters have a treat for each one. I also see this present thing as an alternative to the pinta. Honestly I was confused as we don't do the present pass in America. We just teach out kids that all presents are for the person of the event and we share some of the treats like cake or pizza instead. The present thing was new to me. I don't even recall doing that as a kid.

As a child of the Gift/Trophy for every kid era, I wholly believe that it was a bad idea. Not every person is going to win or get the goal they strive for and it's not good to teach kids that EVERY person is a winner in a situation that calls for a challenge like a game or sport. It's about the challenge of winning and failing, failure isn't a bad thing either. It can lead us to wanting to do better in future goals.

I'm a childless adult in my 30's and have become obsessed with Bluey.
I think with all the crazy turmoil in the world, a bit of innocent entertainment is just what my soul needs, and Bluey is fun enough to have all that innocence for kids, but still slide in some adult entertainment. Just enough for it to be enjoyable for me, and not annoying or boring like most kiddy shows are for adults.

Baby race is why I started watching it. My son was a late speaker and I started to worry he would never catch up. 3 years later and he's easily the smartest kid I know. Not even in kindergarten yet and he reads and does basic math. But yeah, I've teared up watching that episode every time. It isn't easy being a parent.

The miscarriage has been confirmed by series creator Joe Brumm. In the book Hard to Bear by Isabelle Oderberg, he is quoted: The Show indeed does point at Chilli having a miscarriage. He explains the inspiration comes from someone he knows in his personal life, who has to pick herself up to take care for her children.

Pass the parcel can go do one, parents used to frigging rig the game to the child they liked the most. It's wasting paper too. Life is NOT about competition, you need to learn to cooperate with many people to get by and that's a much harder lesson than making a child cry because you believe in your old fart junk.

Not gonna mention the episode where the mums go to a baby shower. Bingo asks Bandit How does a baby end up inside someones belly? while on a swing. Bandit does a beat of silence before letting go of the swing, causing Bingo to spin round and round so Bandit doesnt have to answer the question!

All these are great, but Double Babysitter (2-25) is absolutely fantastic in this regard.
Frisky: Didnt you fall in the pool at the wedding?
Uncle Rad: Probably (implying he was too drunk to remember.
Frisky: Ok! For the sake of the kids, they get married!
Uncle Rad: Ill take it!

As a teacher, I have noticed that children are incredibly clever and smart. People have always said I'm crazy when I say they can handle competitive formats. It's all just about being great parents and very supportive teachers! If you can lose and learn, you never really lost at all, have you?

Im a 55 year old granddad. Bluey makes me laugh and cry during pretty much every episode. Also look up the video that explains the complexity of the theme tune, where each person during the statues game gets one clap less than the previous one (one two three MUM one two DAD one BINGO. BLUEY!

okay, I was watching number 3, reached where the conversation about the snip-snip was altered to a dental procedure (for SOME damn reason) but then, Bandit says he might want to run up and BITE someone, and my brain immediately wanted to know 'WAIT, what did he say _originially, _ then?

One present in the center. Period. No more everyone is a winner not how life is. If you let everyone win a lot grow up to be whiny liberals who think everything they want or need is a basic human right and they literally throw tantrums if they don't get what they want

My best friend has a 3yo and an almost-2yo and when they were all staying over at our place, we watched Bluey and she showed us the episode where Bandit picks up Chinese takeout with the girls, describing it as parenthood in a nutshell.

That final scene, not sure if that was a possible miscarriage or just Bandit holding onto Chilli's hand because they know Bingo messed up and was having a rough day. Never noticed it myself actually so I dunno the 'answer'.

It was confirmed by Bluey creator Joe Brumm that yes, Chili had a miscarriage. That hits closer to home for me because my mother had one before I was born, and so did the mother of a boy I used to live nextdoor to. :(

Even though I'm a teenager born in year 2009 I can still relate to the 1980 episode because in our country back then, a calculator was more advanced than a phone, so basically the 80 era never stopped until 2010

What about the one on faceycall? When stripe and trix are talking? Or the time with frisky and Bosco? Or when bingo is on the swing and asked her dad a question and he spun her? I think those should be in there

Regarding Pass the Parcel, I figured the big thing was making sure the rules are clear before things start - the kids quite enjoy classic PTP as long as they know that's the plan!

Bluey also incorporated being born prematurely in the show in the episode Early baby when Indy talks about her sister needing to be in a hospital for a few days and in a small box.

I love Bluey because it's like older cartoons. It tackles big subjects. Newer kids tv shows didn't do this. Bluey is amazing at doing this and it speaks to the adults as well.

That clip in The Show was brilliant. To the kids it just seemed like Chili was disappointed the play went wrong, but the adults get the deeper meaning

Original: bandit doubting getting the snip
Censored: what if I want to bite someone?
The censored part is worse with the context of the original

10: 40 American culture is so schizophrenic - a combination of being overly controlling in some areas and totally without sensible boundaries in others
