There's this tv series that I've been searching for 3 years for it was on a tape and my high school history teacher put it on basically in every episode a teen is being mean to others like this one black teen was being mean to his mother this old man who's kinda magic transports these spoiled teens into books in this case the black teen boy gets transported into the harriet tubman story book and becomes part of the story this teaches him a lesson. (Though I don't remember what the lesson was for) if someone can help me find out what this old series is called let me know! part of me is starting to think it might not actually exist and it's just false memories.

I can remember gargoyles, the adventures of the Gummi Bears, sonic the hedgehog, Lloyd in space, midnight patrol, chip n dale rescue rangers, Arthur, Mona the vampire, superted, the Smurfs adventures, good troop, Noddys Toyland adventures, care Bears, Alvin and the chipmunks, animaniacs, tiny toons, p b and jelly otter, recess, tail spin, hey Arnold, teenage mutant ninja turtles, raggy dolls, poddington peas, pinky and the brain, the Flintstones, woody woodpecker show, Hanna barbera shows droopy and dribble, Timon and pumbaa, noahs island, wild thornberrys, maid Marianne and her merry men, the Muppet babies,

I remember most of these. TIR NA NOG, I remember the name but never saw any of it, too bad I think I may have liked it. I was only 9 when Dark Water came out and regrettably didn't see the appeal. As far as Ninja Turtle clones go, I preferred Street Sharks over Biker Mice and only know Polly Ester and the theme song for Pizza Cats. My whole family adored Eek. I never cared for Bobby's World, it just made me wanna watch Fantastic Max reruns or Mighty Max. But, I can't agree with you more on your #1 pick. I LOVED and miss the original Ghostwriter.
reply

I remember a lot of these shows growing up. I loved Wishbone, Ghostwriter, and Read All About It whenever they were on PBS I'd watch the station anytime. I liked Biker Mice From Mars as much as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I was obsessed with California Dreams and always watched it on weekends on NBC mornings and TBS/WGN weekdays. Had a major crush on Sly in the series (just like I did with Zack in Saved by the Bell.
reply

Mystic Knights of Tir-na-nog was one of my favorite shows as a kid, Samurai pizza cats was also a classic. Bobby's world, life with Louie, and Biker Mice from mars were all parts of my childhood as well. Also Street Sharks should've gotten an honorable mention. I heard that Disney plus is rebooting Biker Mice from Mars! Not to mention half of everything I learned about history was mostly from Wishbone!

reply

Wishbone is one of my fav shows from my childhood. Ironically I was reading the books before I learned of the TV series. My reading level was below Highbridge others my own age at the time due to my cognitive delay so for school reading Wishbone was my main choice

Wishbone was one of my favoite shows as a kid! I even used to own a Wishbone plushie! I loved the stories from each episode. I'd love to see a reboot of it someday, but I'm not sure if it would be as good or become as popular as the original show.
reply

No sailor moon, mighty max, fantastic max, the snorks, pound puppies, sky dancers, street fighter, dinosuars, aladdin the animated series, little mermaidmaid the animated series, gummy bears, the mighty ducks, healthcliff and rainbowbrite?
reply

Finally Ghostwriter is mention! That show has been vastly overlooked for by the internet, it didnt even get a proper rerelease on DVD nor streaming! PBS mostly killed the show with bad timeslots and even the reboot on Apple TV gets overlooked!
reply

Not a 90s show but Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go (Yes that was the actual name) was a criminally underrated show that got way more serious than it needed to be, and ended on a cliffhanger, something i will always be bitter about
reply

Samurai Pizza cats was one of the most hilarious shows at the time. I also hate it when Pirates of Dark Water ended in a cliff hanger loved that series. I also remember Dragon Tales, Little bear, Duck Tales, and Dexter's Laboratory.
reply

I really should appreciate being born and raised in the 90s and 2000s the times where you wanted to watch every single cartoon that ever showed up on TV and cable because they were still creative and funny when you wanted to laugh.
reply

I forgot to add the land before time, animals of farthing wood, the adventures of tin tin, wind in the willows, sooty and co, the raccoons, Rupert the bear, and the broom cupboard (ed the duck, ed edd n eddy
reply

Literally watched all these shows growing up except California Dreams, literally never heard of that show before today. Everything else beloved childhood memories. Especially Pirates of Dark Water.
reply

Loved wishbone. If I didn't have the action figures to Knights of Tir na norg I would've thought it was a fever dream. But I got them for Christmas one year. I'm surprised Mummies Alive wasn't in this list.
reply

Ghostwriter's purple slime monster freaked me out as a kid and gave me nightmares. I remember that distinctly. I honestly remember no other episodes. But I remember loving the show.
reply

I remember Bobby's world.
I need to watch space cases. how did I miss that being a big jewel Stait fan! And I remember goof troup. and omg WISHBONE, ONE OF MY FAVORITES AS A KID

reply

Wishbone was fantastic and definitely liked mystic knights and biker mice from mars. I also enjoyed Conan the Adventurer, xena warrior Princess, Hercules legendary journeys,
reply

I'm an 80s baby and I remember these shows. However The Flintstones are from the 60s and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles premiered in 1987 but lasted into the mid 90s.
reply

My favorite 90s TV shows were:
Donkey Kong Country
Ned's Newt
Sailor Moon
The Magic School Bus
The Adventures of Paddington Bear
Pippi Longstocking

reply

Should've been what 80s kids remember. 90s kids weren't born or were toddlers for most of these shows and they didn't air into the 2000s. Goof Troop about it for 90s kids
