For me, the most memorable savage moment was when CeCe got her hopes up about Maxwell yet again & was crushed yet again. She's left alone in the room and Nigel strolls in and says, Oh Miss Babcock, you're going to die miserable and alone.
She grimly responds, So you saw what just happened, huh?
And he looks at her with a genuinely blank expression and says, No, what just happened?
Because he actually had no idea, he just happened to walk in and say something unrelentingly (albeit hilariously) cruel.

I'm a huge The Nanny fan, from Finland, and I like to thank you about these ranking lists! I think that every sassy comment from Niles to C. C. needs their own video ranking. Especially the episode Fran's male nanny friend, where Niles writes on a piece of paper what happened between Fran and Maxwell and gives it to C. C, and C. C. collapses crying, Why! I want to die! and Niles puts the knife in C. C. 's bag saying: There, there. Don't do anything rash. :D Thank you so much!

You need to do a separate Top 10/20 List of Nile's Best Burns because there are SO many of them! I didn't watch The Nanny when it first aired & only started watching it when re-runs aired on Lifetime back in the mid 2000s (along with Frasier, another show I got to know in similar fashion. What really surprised me was to find out that Daniel Davis is originally from Arkansas & NOT the UK because that accent is spot on!

When Nikes cleans off th green couch so much Maxwell tells him how many times he has done that for and why Nikes tells him how much he loves it and how unwanted dirt just wants to fall to the floor as Ci Ci to sit on the couch and falls straight to the floor Its so comically well done you cant help but laugh When she mentions maybe she should leave Nikes also hollered out the top window for a taxi It just tops it

I thought the line in the ep where Maxwell wanted to upset his mother, so he pretended to get engaged to Fran who took it seriously and then later pays him back. She hands him a bag and tells him that that's what she was gonna wear on their honeymoon. And he points out that there's only lipstick in the bag in which she smiles and says Suffer.

Niles is up there with Grandmother Jefferson, Maude, Dorthy Zbornak, and Ellen Harper as legendary in their levels of savage and shade.
However. I wish every time I see Max and Fran's wedding I was there. to give Sylvia back up with that glare! We ALL wanted someone to be dumb enough to make her day!

No, actually, for number 10 Sheffield did NOT, in fact, escape unscathed. Fran automatically assumed Lenny saw her kissing the other guy, David, when she thought he was Lenny. Totally disconnected that Lenny most likely meant Sheffield. That is still a fairly decent burn to Mr. Sheffield by Fran.

Oh hells yeah. Another top 10 Nanny list. Thanks MsMojo. But unless you want bleeding ears because of the incredibly nasal voice of the New York demon Fran Drescher, don't watch this video or else you'll go straight to H-E-Double hockey sticks.

The first time I watched this show was when I was 7 years old and it was on nick at nite I think? But this show completely changed my life style Fran definitely influences my style and Niles back handed compliments and after that THANK YOU!

One of the things I love best about this show is that even though Fran Drescher co-produced and starred in it, she made sure that everyone got equally awesome lines, scenes and burns in. Everyone in this show shines equally. Its hilarious.

I really liked the animated episode where CC appears as villain in this Christmas one and that one when Ms Fine thinks Niles is a murderer enters to his room screams but only because his closet is bigger than hers! And list will go on

Most of the scenes that made me lol involve Sylvia. One that comes to mind is when she introduces herself to Elizabeth Taylor, or when Fran tries to grab something from Sylvia's plate and she screams I'll Kill You. Hilarious!

Such a funny show. Too bad its humour is not acceptable anymore (fck political correctness. I sometimes feel bad for CC being constantly bullied by Niles, but then I remember what an unlikable person she is.

This was just a random read, a la Niles, and it's one of my favorite lines from the series.
CC: Maxwell, I don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth.
Niles: Then don't floss in the mirror.

reply

One word: Suffer.
I can barley remember any of C. C or Niles savage moments. But Ive never forgotten the entire scene leading up to Suffer. And Maxwells expression after.
Savage Gold.

reply

Another savage moment: when Niles walks in on Max helping take off Frans top and tells if you let me tell Ms Babcock Ill work free for a year and then tells her and sticks a knife in her bag
reply

Should've been a top 20 list. My favorite wasn't on here doe
CeCe: Maxwell, it's your worst nightmare!
Niles: I wish you would stop announcing yourself

reply

This is still one of my favorite shows. Niles and CC are freaking hysterical! The whole cast had beautiful chemistry, the likes you don't find often
reply

During the pandemic Adventure watch the show like three times and now I'm binge-watching it again for a fourth time I swear this show is the best
reply

I met Fran at a Health Convention in DC in 2018. She was very friendly and eager to autograph my 3rd Season DVD. And, yes, that voice is REAL!

reply

C. C. ''I wouldn't be caught dead in that dress. ''
