My favorite is probably You look like a pile of swans because Sheldon is the most honest character in the show - brutally, painfully honest, most of the time. Any compliment that one person gives another almost always has the undercurrent of possible insincerity, obligation, or obsequiousness. With Sheldon, compliments were always genuine, which is why some of his compliments are really insults, and others are weird like She's like the dryer sheets of my heart! The pile of swans simile is such a strange, but very sweet, way of saying You are beautiful, and it gave Amy the confidence to build her wedding to HER tastes, not her friends'.

I really hope they do a sequel to the big bang theory after young sheldon ends. I would like it to be set several years after the end of the big bang theory when everyone has kids and what not. It would be amazing if Paige Swanson was a series regular on that show. I could imagine that she passed up a life of higher education and science to have a successful marriage and family life. Sheldon could regularly criticize the idea that she gave up her opportunities, yet is continuously frustrated by the fact that despite that she is still smarter than him and often comes out on top during their debates.

I adore Sheldons response to Amys dress & his comment to Howard when his mother passed away. The song to Bernadette tho stands out in my mind as one of the sweetest on the show (which is remarkable to me, only bc of my extreme bias towards Shamy) Two things missing, IMO, were when the guys returned home to hear their GFs arguing abt a comic book. They almost went into shock. And when Sheldon realized Amy would date other guys without a commitment, he went to the movies to ask her to be his GF. Except 1st time w four double negatives. The whole scene was adorable!

To bad Parsons cancelled the show so he could do Young Sheldon. It nice he is coveing for Cuoco who also had onther projects. Everything I read states these two are great friends. I find it hard to believe Cuoco didn't know. They both have the right to quit a TV show. but they did impact everyone else on the show and watching it.

#7 and #4 should have been way higher on the list I think. Or was I the only one bawling during those scenes? But #1 was for sure the NUMBER ONE moment because the actress that played Howie's mom passed away in real life from cancer and this episode and the one where the food is unfreezing are tributes to the actress.

Even though I'd never wear something so extravagant, I liked Amy's wedding dress. She looked like a Little House character.
Also, hearing Sheldon use a bird simile to describe something/someone as beautiful is kinda strange, due to his ornithophobia.

I loved the episode when the food in Howard's refrigerator was in danger of being completely lost and the gang had a giant feast. with some sincere emotions during discovering what was in there, during the feast, and the slow digestion afterwards.

When Howard's mom died it was a really sad moment, but more because of the actress per say, because Howard joked so many times about his mom's death, he mistreated her so much that for me was a bit strange when he got upset with the news.

I'd put Sheldon's Nobel speech at #1 Howard's Mother dying at 2, and Sheldon thanking his Dad, after seeing the tape at 3. all based on how much tissue I go through, no matter how often I watch them. The others are all good though.

#1 will always be hard to watch. i lost both my parents a year apart & hearing this broke me. worst part is that i didn't know the actress actually died in real life so this came out of left field. anyone else cry during this?

The scene when Sheldon sees Amy in her wedding dress is my favorite. I cry every time I see that scene, because it's just so authentic, heartfelt and kind. We need more people like Sheldon in this world when he's with Amy.
