Wheres the voice actor of Spider man in into the spidey verse? Personally, I think Johnathon Taylor Thomas did the greatest child voice acting performance as young Simba. Philip Glasser was great. Hayden Pattier did a great job as Dot in a bugs life and as Kairi in Kingdom Hearts. Ill never forget seeing Little Foots mother pass away in the first land before time and with my mom passing away 2 weeks ago- it crossed my mind even though I have not seen that movie in over 2 decades so kudos to Gabriel Damon. I also think Hailey Joel Osment as Sora was great but I guess video games were not considered for this list. Dakota Fanning was just a born star. Fanning and Osment can do no wrong.

I always loved Dot in A Bugs Life. Shes my favorite character in the movie. Boo as well in Monsters Inc, shes always been my favorite as well, just super adorable! And I enjoy Aulii as Moana, like I could never forget the day she was in full excitement to have been chosen for the role. I also remembered Ducky in the Land Before Time. Yup, yup, yup I could never forget that line and how she and Spike were always together. And Brother Bear I feel is so underrated but I love Koda and his energy, so his voice actor fit him so well.

Thanks again for the video. For me, the best child voice acting performances were: Simba, Charlie Brown, Lilo, Nemo, Riley and Miguel. Yes, they were able to interpret and make the emotions of the scenes feel with their voices (happiness, sadness, fear, anger, etc, they deserve a great recognition, their voices were amazing, cute and adorable. Also are Bambi, Elsa and Anna, Judy (Zootopia, and Dory.

Disney and Pixar have a real knack for picking the best child voice actors, but I feel the Don Bluth movies deserve just as much credit. The kid characters in those movies really spoke and acted like kids in real life. Any stuttering, pausing, or mispronounciations, or were kept because it made their performances that much more authentic. R. I. P. Judith Barsi.

Not even an honorable mention to one of the greatest child performers in history, Pamelyn Ferdin? While she did mostly live-action, she was Fern in Charlotte's Web (her delivery of her saving Wilbur's life came from personal experience); and, most importantly, Lucy Van Pelt in A Boy Named Charlie Brown (hand-chosen for the role AND did her own singing.

Want to give a special shout out real fast to Kathryn Beaumont cause not only did she do a wonderful job voicing Alice, but she also came back DECADES LATER to voice the character one last time for Kingdom Hearts. But she wasnt done yet, she also had the honor of voicing Kairis grandmother in KH Birth by Sleep

Noah Schnapp was amazing as Charlie Brown, but did you know that when she was a kid Fergie was a voice actress in the Peanuts franchise? Her real names Stacey Ferguson and she voiced Sally and Peppermint Patty in The Charlie Brown And Snoopy Show, before joining The Black Eyed Peas as an adult!
reply

RIP Judith Barsi, such a tragic life for such a talented little girl. Her father was horribly abusive and ended up killing Judith and her mother when they tried to leave the situation. Sadly, it's probably growing up in that situation that made her so emotionally aware for such a young age

Okay but the kid who voiced Koda also improvised the line they showed here. He deserves every credit hes getting and then some!
Also was surprised to hear that Jonathan Taylor Thomas voiced Simba. Were watching Home Improvement right now and I instantly recognized the name

I know this is just about voice acting, but PLEASE REALIZE the RANGE Daviegh Chase friggin had frfr. LILO. Samara in The Ring. Chihiro in Spirited Away. Rhonda in Big Love.
ALL of these performances are complex af and she just executed. I remember idolizing that growing up.

Not a movie but Mia Sinclair Janess in Arcane. I'm pretty sure she was a preteen when she voiced Powder and she really brought the character to life. She had a lot of the viewers crying their eyes out during the emotional scenes
reply

My favorite is Anthony Gonzalez as Miguel in Coco. Just that one scene of him singing to Coco. He complrtrly captured the desperation of not wanting Hector to experience the second death. Absolutely amazing singer as well

Can I point out that I'm a fan of Sonic and many Disney films? In relation to that, I've seen Beauty and the Beast more than a handful of times, and it wasn't until I saw this video that I noticed that Chipwas also Tails.
reply

I love that Bradley Pierce was on this list! I wish, though, that you wouldve taken a look at Bambi as the child actors in that movie were delightful and also Dickie Roberts as the original Pinocchio was outstanding.
reply

Underrated honorable mention whom no one ever talks about: The kid who voiced Louie in We're Back: A Dinosaur's Story. ESPECIALLY the scene in the circus when he breaks down, talking Rex out of killing the professor.

Child actors like these can pluck at our heartstrings with emotion and compassion; you can also have a little trip down memory lane to rewatch how great their performances were at a young age.

Her performances as Alice and Wendy back in the 50s were great and even more impressive, Kathryn Beaumont returned 49 years later to voice both characters in the first Kingdom Hearts game.

I was hoping with all my heart to see some love given to Eva Whittaker for her work as Mebh in Wolfwalkers. Dear MsMojo: please acknowledge the existence of this wonderful movie.

I would've personally put Jonathan Taylor Thomas in The Lion King at #1. Probably one of the most hilarious and also emotionally devastating voiceover perofrmances of all time.
reply

I love Spirited Away. It's a great movie. Had no idea the girl who voiced the main character in the movie also voiced Lilo. Man the things you learn at unexpected moments.

I knew Hayden as Dot, I was surprised she would later appear in slasher films like Scream.
And as a Stranger Things fan, I had no idea Noah Schnapp voiced Charlie Brown.

The Peanuts Movie (2015)
1. Linus van Pelt (Alexander Garfin)
2. Heather Wold/The Little Red-Haired Girl (Francesca Capaldi)
3. Sally Brown (Mariel Sheets)

Noah Schnapp did an amazing job as Charlie Brown. I hope we get to see him return again as Charlie, although its unlikely given how hes gotten older since then
reply

My mother and I used to watch some of these movies but now she is gone and some of these movies are starting to make me cry and made me thought of her!
reply

Hear me out; The kid who voiced Antonio Madrigal from Encanto. He was like 10-11 and though he had only a few lines, kid made a believable 5 year old.
reply

Honorable mentions: Kirsten Dunst as the young Anastasia in Anastasia and Noah Cyrus as Ponyo in the English dubbed version of Ponyo.
