I still love that Doofenshmirtz and Perry are basically best friends that sometimes have to face off against each other. But when it comes down to it, both of them have actually helped the other out when really needed.
Doof let Perry borrow Norm. Perry helped Doof look cool to Vanessa s friends. Doof helped Perry and the boys battle his other evil self. Perry got Balloony back for Doof. And there have been a lot of other things.
It is just really fun.
And yes, he (Doof) is a really great dad.

This was an amazing show for the messages that it taught kids (and adults, too, if they bothered to listen) It didn't shy away from mentioning divorce, remarriage, or adults dating again. They expressed the message of going outside and adventuring instead of staying indoors all of the time. And character development showed how different all of the kids were (races, religions, opinions, viewpoints) yet there were no conflicts over them. In fact, they embarrassed their differences.

I've never seen every episode of Phineas and Ferb, but if it is true that Vanessa was 16 when Ferb was 10; that is creepy to put in a kids show! I don't care if she did wait; isn't that grooming to wait for a kid to turn 18? Why aren't more people talking about this! I get it is just a show, but people find it fine to talk about other shows like it is a huge part of their life.

All age gaps are acceptable as long as they're both above the age of consent and I love the adult humor my favorite episode is Night of the Living pharmacists got to see more of them what's with the rubber? it insulates against the infection I don't even want to know how you figured that one out that is so funny

Doofenshmirtz is such a good dad. He doesn't pass his trauma onto his kid like we see in most shows, instead he uses his experiences as examples of what not to do, and prevents Vanessa from going through the same pain. It's so heartwarming.

My parents have a 6 year age gap. I don't think it's that weird. I mean, they did meet in their 20s, not when they were kids, but still. If you ask me as long as both of them are above eighteen, it doesn't really matter that much.

Something I noticed when I got older is the characters' diversity, with Ferb and Lawrence being British, Isabella being Mexican-Jewish, Doofenshmirtz being some kind of German, and Baljeet being Indian.

I love that fact that Doofenshmirtz broke the cycle of abuse, rather than being an abusive and neglectful father to Vanessa like his parents did to him when he was a kid.
