I don’t think I could figure out which Disney song makes me smile the most because 99% of them do (the leftover 1% is for the gut wrenching songs) I do however know the few that it could. That’s How You Know and Happy Working Song from Enchanted, When You Wish Upon A Star from Pinocchio, Be Our Guest and Human Again from Beauty and the Beast, Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride from Lilo and Stitch, I Just Can’t Wait To Be King from The Lion King, Friend Like Me and Prince Ali from Aladdin, You’ve Got A Friend In Me from Toy Story, Whistle While You Work and The Yodel Song from Snow White, Kiss The Girl and Under The Sea from The Little Mermaid, Son of Man from Tarzan, Zero To Hero from Hercules, Another Believer from Meet The Robinson’s, Why Should I Worry from Oliver And Company, basically the entire soundtrack from Mary Poppins. And so many more that I just can’t think of right now There’s so many happy, fun songs in Disney

There's a lot if those songs that stays with you like for life, Lumiere's Be our guest highly entertaining and I cannot get enough and same goes for Sebastians under the sea tone, Phil Collins On my way, I love listening to that especially when I either something that changes course in my life eg recently I got to get a job with a company I wanted or if I'm going to an exciting destination on holiday, this song comes to mind because hey I'm really on my way so to speak. So many many songs I can listen to over and over and over again and it never gets old.

Honorable Mention: You've Got a Friend in Me. The perfect theme for friendship and for the Toy Story franchise. While Randy Newman's version is iconic, the Sinatra jazzy rendition sung by Wheezy (Robert Goulet) for the finale of Toy Story 2 is amazing. BTW, happy 25th anniversary to Toy Story 2!

Disney makes me laugh, makes me cry, makes me want to sing, makes me want to dance, makes me feel loved, makes me want to have a crush on a princess (especially and mostly Rapunzel, makes me entertained, makes me smile, and most of all, makes me feel like I’m a kid again.

. I think you should have limited it to one song per movie to include other movie choices. Other good options would be Beautiful Briney Sea from Bedknobs and Broomsticks maybe Jolly Holiday from Mary Poppins or Following the Leader from Peter Pan.

Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo (Cinderella)
Poor Unfortunate Souls (The Little Mermaid)
Just Around The River Bend (Pocahontas)
A Star Is Born (Hercules)
When You're The Best of Friends (The Fox and the Hound)

All of these songs are on my Disney Playlist. All WAY too good not to be! Funniest part though is that my family used On My Way as the theme song for our family reunion years ago!

If I were you guys, I'd replace Encanto with I'm Still Here from Treasure Planet. But I guess for obvious and biased reasons, you don't think that song's good enough to be on this list.

And to think a lot of the Disney songs on this list are classics, those particular songs became staples of Disney's ability to make different types of songs for all ages!

Who put on the better performance, Lumiere or Sebastian
Damn, that question just had me thinking what an AMAZING musical crossover that would have been.

reply

Sorry but You're welcome is so much better in German because the lyrics are so much catchier as you can say You're welcome in so many different ways in German.
reply

Next time you're listening to Be Our Guest, just think, Lumiere is detective Lenny Briscoe from Law and Order and also tried to put Baby in a corner.
reply

Let's all take a moment to honor Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah from Song of the South, the song that would have likely been in the top 3 if not banned by Disney.

The Encanto one is so much sadder when you realize how the family seemed to treat Mirabel and also how they ostracized Bruno, family indeed.
