Pepsi Blue was delightful when they re-released it, the Berry Cola flavor worked perfectly with vanilla ice cream for summer floats. I wish they had kept it around full-time when it returned. Also, on the 2014 Lays Do Us a Flavor contest - Cheddar Bacon Mac was the only one that I would've bought a second bag of if I had the opportunity, but Wasabi Ginger was fine enough for being an out there flavor. The Mango Salsa was artificially sweet, almost cloyingly so, and Cappuccino was definitely coffee-flavored, but it brings to mind the evergreen Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn't stop to think if they should from Jurassic Park.

This list proves that just because a company has a multi-billion dollar marketing budget doesn't mean they have common sense. Most of these fails happened because brands tried to force innovation where nobody asked for it. Whether it’s weird crossovers like Swedish Fish Oreos or health hazards like the Cocaine energy drink, the common thread is a total disconnect from what people actually want to put in their bodies. The main takeaway from is stay in your lane. If you make good cola, don't try to make me drink carbonated milk.

When people think about 7-Up failures, very few people seem to remember dnL. I believe it was described as the 7-Up logo upside down. It was a citrus soda that I think was supposed to be comparable to Mountain Dew, but maybe it was just test marketed and never took off nationally.

Nah the Turtle Pies rocked-they tasted GREAT. They sold them for a few years! Until the Turtles waned in popularity. You don't get it-kids in the early 90's loved green foods! A gross motif Thanks to Nickelodeon lol. The Turtle Pies were a successful thing.

To think, there was a time in America when a snack pie possessing the catchphrase Straight from the sewer TO YOU! somehow wasn't an immediate deal breaker. But that was the power of the Ninja Turtles brand in the late 80's and early 90's.

9: 56 Olestra is only an issue if someone eats far too much of it. Like sugar free Gummy Bears, yeah, if you eat a whole bag you’ll get cramps and the runs, but if you eat a normal amount it’s fine

You know the one thint I did like to have on rare events with sugar. Eggo's maple syrup of toast with the syurp in it when toasted. I kind of like it. Again, long ago when having it at rare times.

Since I wasn't born until long after New Coke was discontinued, I still remember Mike and Lucas from Stranger Things getting into a random debate over it, right in the middle of a serious situation.

4: 23 i actually loved pepsi blue i was probably one of very few who did but id go over to the city pool just to get to the vending machine to snag 2 or three every Friday after high school.

When you talk about Oreos, you can probably do their worst flavors and their best flavor as a big long video and you could do that for all the chip brands and Mountain Dew as well

the tayto chocolate bar wasnt a failurein ireland. it was sold in Tayto Park until it was sold like 4 years ago and i havent meet someone who didnt like it. i wish it could come back

0: 37 There’s rumor that New Coke was only introduced as an excuse to switch from cane sugar to high fructose corn syrup without making it a headline

I immediately thought of Shrek' green twinkies. Only my cousin has been brave enough to try one. And he actually found them to be tastier than he expected!

12: 04 I loved True Blood and thought it was cool that they launched a tie in product. I would’ve bought it. Had it been available in stores near me
reply

Okay, I have to call foul at number 9 and throw the flag. The Ninja Turtle pies were good and I was devastated as a kid when they were discontinued.

21: 38 How can the FDA ban something just because they object to the name
Maybe they should have named it Crack because at least that is slang.

18: 14 Crystal Pepsi would a have worked had it tasted like Pepsi or (like I expected it to) 7-Up, but it had a weird spice flavor.

Questionable dietary choices To be fair, Rebecca, no one reaches for junk food because they want to improve their diet.
