I love all the women on this list and there hairstyles but as a gay black man I cant help but feel excluded because there are no hairstyles on this list that are tailored to women of color specifically black women. It says to young women of color or black women that the progression of hairstyles throughout the decades in black culture is not appreciated and the fact that this is a list of the most iconic hairstyles says to them that the idols you may have looked up to wont be looked up when it comes to their hair which doesnt have the most desirable hairstyles of that time to white people so their hairstyles shouldnt be recognized and considered as something that would be iconic or had a massive cultural impact.

I had long, beautiful hair when I was little, until at age 7 my mom decided to tell the hair dresser to give me that awful Dorothy Hammel cut. I hid all the pics of me with that haircut.
I'm in my 40s now and still am pissed at my mom for doing that to me. lol
Was a big fad though, I'm surprised that didn't make at least an honorable mention.
