Number 10, 5, 3, 1, and along with a number of unmentioned moments is the reason why I don't think that Ross and Rachel are a poisonous pairing as some believe. Yes, they both are imperfect and made some very detrimental mistakes. But, in the long run, they are a great example of forgiveness (eventually, lol) and holding onto their feelings for each other. They wouldn't have loved each other for so long if their feelings were shallow and selfish. The way I view it, Ross and Rachel got with each other premature at the start of the series. But then they grew up to the point they could tolerate each other's quirks at the end. Just like in real relationships.

The writers as amazing as they are for creating friends, people we feel are part of our lives, did a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE job with Ross and Rachel. we did not wait for 10 years to see them get back together. we should have seen a proposal and a wedding (hear Ross take Take the Rachel to Rachel) on the last season. And what the hell were they thinking, creating stuff between Joey and Rachel? Such a disappointment

The Prom video is the only scene that i still cant watch. Anytime i watched re-runs i would always fast forward that scene. It tore me up over a decade ago, felt braver to watch it 5 minutes ago, tears rolled out uncontrollably again like they did the first time. Was my favourite show when i first saw it in 1994 and it remains so to this day.

I guess the video would be a lot better if you delete your explanations of the scenes from the video. The people who already watched friends already knew it and who haven't also can also enjoy only the scene and not the commentary. Your comments actually made the video a lot less impressive that it should have been!

For the record, they were clearly on a break. Never mind the title of the episode being The One Where Ross and Rachel TAKE A BREAK. It all started when Rachel tried to see Mark after suggesting the break in the first place. She was out of line. Ross acted on her actions because she had clearly tried to end it.

I've 2 issues. 1 Rachel gets mad for cheating on her, but she's comply okay with helping him cheat on Julie. 2 Why the hell would Emily to through the rest of the Ceremony after being called his ex and especially take it out on him and manipulate?

It always struck me how much Ross cares for Rachel, given that he did what Rachel could not. When Ross was suspicious about mark, Rachel cared more about her job than relationship. When Rachel was hurt, Ross cared more about her than his job.

I'm torn with the 'we were on a break' thing - I get that Ross is technically single so can sleep with whomever he wants, but he also can't be surprised if Rachel is heartbroken when he does it only hours after their 'break up'

It really pisses me off that the writers and producers kept these two apart so long. They should have got back together way before the series finale. I think they should have got back together after Emma was born.
