There are 20 Remnant Glyph Puzzle Solutions & Locations in Mass Effect Andromeda. Solving all puzzles unlocks the Cryptographer trophy or achievement. This guide shows them in chronological story order. Text & Screenshot Guide for All Glyph Puzzles: For Cryptographer you must solve all 20 puzzles in a single playthrough. This is HIGHLY MISSABLE! 6 out of 20 puzzles are missable because they are inside remnant vaults that cannot be revisited after completing them, or in quest areas you can't go back to. The missable ones are marked in the overview below. Most of them are located at Alien Monoliths or inside Remnant Vaults. Each vault contains at least 1 missable puzzle! If you miss a puzzle it will lock you out of the trophy. The Remnant Puzzles are similar to Sudoku. First you must locate hidden glyphs (they are always in close proximity to the puzzle. Use your scanner to follow the yellow cables from the remnant console to the glyphs and scan them. Now you must decrypt the Remnant Code by assigning the glyphs to a grid. No row or column can include repeats of the same glyph (only one glyph of each type per line. The same goes for each quadrant block (usually four quadrants divided by glowing lines. You can't have two of the same glyphs in one quadrant. Start with the lines or blocks that are only missing one glyph. This will immediately give you the last glyph for that line (whichever one is not in the line yet. Then move to the lines that are missing 2 glyphs. Piece by piece you---ll get closer to the correct combination. You can also use Remnant Decryption Keys to solve the puzzle immediately (items that are sometimes found in chests

I got a problem with number 4 on Eos. I can't solve the puzzle, it's like non-existent. I can click on the box but I don't have to solve the puzzle. I'm trying the trophy right now and I wonder if I have to wait for something, or if it's possible to mess it up? I've never had this problem before, I don't wanna start all over for this shitty puzzle: / Has anyone ever had this problem?

Wait a minute, at 9: 13 my game never had that console hidden in those rocks and I never got those little platforms that I could climb at 9: 36, I just had to sneak past the creatures on the other side of that wall up ahead at 9: 13 and then find glyphs for another puzzle a ways past them. What am I missing?

One thing ive learnt about these puzzles is that you can fill in all the slots with no doubles however even though you can the game is designed so no matter how you do it it only accepts it if its the same pattern the way the gamers programed it to unlock, It sux, i had to learn the hard way to know this.

Thanks for this. I hate puzzles in action RPGs, and pretty much everywhere else, too. I just want to get on with the game, and these puzzles feel like a huge waste of time. Glad there is a guide like this.

13: 11. Not succeeded. Made rows, columns however highlighted shapes haven't so far. Probably will not look to this video and will try again. 5x5 puzzles are hardest in this game.

On #19, container is bugged. I made sure I was pressing triangle when -Interface- was displayed, puzzle doesn't show up, it skips it. Trophy is glitched and missable.

This was so hard. You HAVE to kill the Remnant to get the console active. When I snuck past them it wasn-t active. Wanted to save them but I guess you can-t-

Apparently there's more than 20 cause I got the trophy before ever going to Meridian and before even finding the Kett flagship in -Hunting the Archon- quest.

Missed the glyph puzzle and location at the top of the map in Havarl. Too much gay voice narration in this game and bestiality too.
